Tracy delivered the file to Sam’s office. Sam was standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, taking a call with a serious expression. She placed the file on the desk. “Mr. Zach, this is the document submitted by the technical department today. Please take a look.”
Sam glanced at her, moved the phone slightly away from his ear, and whispered, “Go sit on the sofa and eat some mini cakes while you wait for me. I have something to tell you.”
She nodded. “Okay.”
Walking over to the sofa, Tracy looked at the items on the coffee table: a box of delicate, strawberry-flavored mini cakes. He actually still remembers that I like strawberry-flavored cake. Her eyes welled up slightly.
