Chapter 70 Tracy Has No Second Chances, Are You Playing Favorites?
Sean, hearing this, allowed a hint of mockery to curve his thin lips. “Tracy is younger than he is. He gets a chance to make mistakes, so why doesn’t Tracy? Are you playing favorites?”
This single sentence instantly made Jared feel awkward. He opened his mouth, ready to say something, but Sean didn’t give him the chance
He led Tracy directly into the hospital room.
As soon as the door closed, Sean looked sideways at Tracy. “Don’t you have a mouth? Why didn’t you argue back? You just stood there and let them bully you?” When he arrived, the young woman was standing there silently, letting them abuse her. It was infuriating to watch.
Tracy pursed her lips and looked up at Sean. “I did argue back just now, but they simply wouldn’t believe me. They even scolded me for having no manners and demanded that I apologize to that mother and daughter.”
Chase must have already forgotten the reminder she gave him yesterday. It had only been one night, and he was already helping that mother and daughter stir up trouble again. Sure enough, people who are prejudiced against you will not change their minds over a single event. “Have some oats first to warm your stomach.” Sean placed the store-bought oats on the bedside table, opened them, and handed the spoon along with them to Tracy.

Hanging up the phone, Tracy sniffled and looked up to see Sean handing her a tissue. Meeting his gaze, Tracy thanked him and hastily wiped the tears from the corners of her
eyes.
Sean raised his hand to look at his wristwatch, then told Tracy, “Your aunt will come over to take care of you shortly. Don’t worry, she doesn’t know about your illness.”
The mention of her aunt coming to care for her made Tracy’s heart jump. She instinctively wanted to say no. But she turned and saw Lily already at the door, accompanied by Morgan and her cousin, Jackson. Was that notification a little too late?
