Alpha’s White Lie
Chapter 110
“You’re lying to me. I can see it. What’s going on?! What’s the real
reason?” I narrowed my eyes at them.
Rocky looked up at Blake, and I felt him nod.
“It’s because we couldn’t. When you’re a half–blood wolf, you need to get consent from the full blood parent to consummate the bonding. This rule was put into play so that the bloodline wasn’t just passed around. Some packs use it as a way of making stronger pups. As much as the Callum’s like me, they had their reservations for our bonding” Rocky let go of Taylor and straightened up.
“Mum wanted me to bond with someone who was full blood high ranked wolf, and even though Rocky is full blood, he is a common wolf, which is where mums problem was. Mum comes from a line of high ranked wolves. Her dad is the Alpha of the pack that she is part of. She never stopped us from being together, but she said I couldn’t complete the bonding. They offered Rocky a role in their pack so he could become a high ranked wolf, but that would mean we had to move to Greenwoods, and we didn’t want that” Taylor looked down her her fingers, clearly embarrassed by her families decisions.

“So what does that mean? You guys will never be able to mate?” I
asked. I was shocked at how stupid the Callum’s were.

“No, it’s all sorted now, Rosy. Thanks to the Big bad wolf here, we
can now finish our bonding. Becoming Blake beta gave me that ranking I needed. So during the full moon next week, we will complete the process” Rocky had a big grin on his face. He looked at
Taylor, who had the same grin on her face.

“Oh, thank god! Thank you, big bad wolf! You’re a lifesaver, huh” I
looked up at Blake and laughed.
He squeezed me “that I am Angel” he kissed the side of my head.
Something dawned on me, “wait….. does that mean Richard has to give consent for us?”
“No, he doesn’t. Technically he has no claim over you. You were what they call an unusual circumstance. I spoke to the elders about this, and it’s all been sorted, so don’t worry.”
That made me relax. The last thing I wanted right now as having to ask Richard if I could be with Blake. He made it clear at the hospital that he didn’t want us to be together. Is that why he was saying that? He was voicing his rejection of the relationship.
I shook my head and tried not to think about it.
“Dinners 20mins away kids, do you wanna help me set up the

table?” Theresa called from the kitchen.
“Come on then“, Blake started towing me again.
“So what makes you so high ranked?” I asked.
I felt Blake stiffen. Rocky looked at us over his shoulder before
turning back quickly.
“Dad being Alpha, of course“, his reply was short.
“Just having the Alpha blood makes you high ranked?”
“Hmph” It wasn’t like Blake not to give me an explanation. Every time I asked something wolf related, he always gave me an
explanation.
“Blake, what are you hiding from me?” I asked once Rocky and Taylor had disappeared around the corner.
“Nothing, Angel“, he gave another short reply.
“I know whatever it is, you are probably hiding with the best intentions, but I want to know. Would you please tell me things? What’s the point of all this when you can’t even share your problems with me? I’m supposed to be your support, and I can’t do that if I

don’t know things” I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled
him close.
Blake let out a low growl.
my
“Fuck, why do you have to turn me on right now” Blake grabbed
butt and hoisted me up. I quickly wrapped my legs around his
waist. He turned around and walked towards the stairs.
“Wait, what?”
“When you
talk like that, that love and sincerity. It’s a turn on
Angel.”
