Alpha’s White Lie
Chapter 118
The van doors opened, and two guys came out. I started to panic and
tried to scream. Before any sound came out of my throat, Greg put his
hand over my mouth. He had a cloth in his hand that had a potent
smell to it. The cloth muffled my screams. I struggled against him
with whatever strength I had left.
“Tell Novo I said hi” his voice started to fade, and darkness took
over…
Blake’s P.O.V
I watched Rosy walk away, and waited for the lift door to close. I
didn’t want her to go alone, but I wasn’t that possessive idiot that
would stop her from enjoying her life. I looked at the computer screen
in front of me and focused on the conversation I was having with the
three investors.
Pops had plans, and when he had plans, he was hell bend of making
sure they happened. Sending Greg here was just a ruse. He actually
wanted to see Rosy’s capability.
Even though he knew she was really good at her job, he needed her
to see and believe that otherwise, she wouldn’t take the job they had
in mind for her. She would never agree to get such a position in the

company because, to her, she would think we were biased. After all,
she was fuxking her boss.
My phone started to vibrate on the table, and I smiled. Is Rosy
missing me already?
I picked up the phone to see Pops calling me.
“Hey gentlemen, give me 5 minutes. Grandad is calling. He may
want to add things to this meeting,” I quickly explained and answered
the call.
“Hey Pops, just chatting with the Andr-…..” he cut me short.
“Blake, that boy Greg. He had an accident on the way to Mariners
Bay today. His at the local hospital. Can you please pop over and
check on him?” The old men’s words felt like someone had
electrocuted me.
Greg had just walked out with Rosy.
“What? He was here this morning. They went out for drinks with
Rosy’s team. How’d he get in an accident? The bar is within walking
distance.” I started to panic.
“What are you talking about?! Greg was meant to be there

tomorrow, not today.”
“Pops, have you got a picture of the guy?” I asked, getting up. I
loosened my tie and started pacing.
“Yeah, I’ll send it now.”
There was a few seconds of silence, and then my phone vibrated.
I put my call on speaker and opened the message.
I almost dropped my phone when I saw the picture. It wasn’t the
same guy. The guy that came this morning was someone else.
“Pops. I need you and dad down here NOW!” I barked.
I ended the call and paced around. Rosy had gone with that guy.
I dialed her number quickly.
It started to ring.
“Pick up, Angel, please pick up!” I chanted. I closed my eyes and
prayed she was okay.

“Hey, this is Rosy. Leave a name and number after the beep, and
I’ll get back to you. Bye” Her phone went into a voice message.
Fuxk! Maybe the music at the bar was too loud.
Lilly! I quickly thought.
I dialed Lilly’s number.
She picked up after two rings.
“Hey, Mr. Cooper. Everything okay?” She asked, slurring a little.
Loud music raging in the background.
“Lilly, where is Rosy?”
“Umm, she went to the bathroom like 20 minutes ago and hasn’t
been back. There’s a long line outside the ladies toilet, so maybe she’s
still waiting” I heard her move.
“Go check on her, please. Make sure she’s in the line.” I pinched
the bridge of my nose, trying to calm my wolf down. He was getting
agitated.
“Sure. Hold on” I heard her excuse herself from the table, and then
there were music and footsteps.

“Hey, Mr. B, she’s not here.” Lilly finally said.
My heart stopped, and it felt like someone had punched me in the
gut. Where was she?!
