mind trying to find you. How did you get to Greenwoods?!” He
hugged me tighter.
“All I remember is Greg telling me he had spiked my drink and then
the two guys that came out of the van before I passed out. I don’t
know how I got there. Blakey, the guy that had me tied up, his mum ́s
old pimp. He said mum stole money from him and ran away. Vince
was there trying to buy me from the guy” I could stop myself from
crying more. Why couldn’t Vince just leave me alone?!

“Nice job, brother. Your Beta’s mate requested the safety of the guy
that tried to rape the future Luna and then tried to buy her for his
pleasure. You are doing a marvelous job,” sarcasm dripping from
Max’s words.
“You think I’m okay with this?! Vince is Taylor’s brother. She can’t
help but protect him no matter what he is like. Look at us! No matter
what you’ve done to me, today, you are still standing here. You out of
all people should understand,” Blake barked at Max.
“Oh, I understand, alright. I understand that my brother forgot to
tell me he had marked the future Luna. Want to tell me why I wasn’t
aware? You just don’t want to share, huh” I heard Max chuckle.

Share?! What the hell were they sharing?? I still didn’t undestand
why theh referred to me as a Luna. Sue had explained what the word
meant, but why was I a Luna?
“MAX!” Blake shouted so loud I jumped out of his arms and took a
few steps away from him.
He was furious! His eyes were pitch black, and he was shaking.
“How dare you even say that?! She’s mine and only mine! You better
keep your paws off her!” Blake slowly walked towards Max with his
fists clenched. Max didn’t seem fazed. He just stood there with his
arms crossed.
“Unfortunately, brother, that’s something you have to take up with
fate. I can not help you. Ask her. She was the one that just admitted I
don’t repulse her. Wonder why that is?” Max looked at me with a
smirk.
What the hell was going on?!
Blake slowly turned to me. His eyes were still dark, and his face was
still screwed up with anger.
“Is he telling the truth? He touched you, and you found that
enjoyable ?!” Blake hissed at me.

“It-… it wasn’t enjoyable at all. What I meant was that he didn’t
repulse me as Vince did. You were the one that said other guys would
repulse me, but Max made me feel safe, that’s all,” I quickly answered.
Fuxk why did Max have to say that to him? I had seen Blake so mad
once before; it was scaring me.
“I told you to keep your hands off her! We had a deal!” Blake turned

towards Max. He was obviously happy with my answer.
“Well, I’m sorry I had to carry her out of the club because she passed out. What was I meant to do? Wait until she wakes up to ask her to walk out? Calm down, dude! I’ve brought her back in one piece. Say thank you, and let’s move on. Fuxk, you talk like I ripped her clothes off and banged her in my car on the way here. She knows the difference between you and me! Stop with the accusations. She knew it was me and not you the moment she saw me. That’s how much she loves you, asshole. So calm the Fuxk down!” Max yelled at Blake.
They were standing so close to each other now that their noses were
almost touching.
Was Max trying to defend me? Or was he just using that as an excuse
to get out of trouble?
I was shaking a little from all the yelling. They were both scaring me
now.

“BOYS!” A voice from the top of the stairs. We all turned to find Sue
standing at the top with her hands on her hips. She huffed and came
down the stairs and stood next to me, side hugging me. She looked at
me and smiled.
“I apologize for my son’s behavior, sweetheart. They have both forgotten their manners. When a girl comes home after being kidnapped, she should be taken inside to relax and feel comfortable.
Not stand outside and see two grown as a man screaming at each
other” she looked at both the boys and narrowed her eyes at them.

“You both should be ashamed of yourselves. Is this what I’ve taught
you?! If you two haven’t realized, then let me point out that today, you needed each other’s help. Whether you two like it or not, you
have a bond that can not be broken. So, SUCK IT UP!” She was scary
now too.
“I’m going to take Rosy inside. Your father would like to see you two in the office. Don’t bother coming inside unless you have both calmed down” she started towing me up the stairs leaving the two
gobsmacked men standing with angry expressions.
