Taylor looked up at Rocky. He gave her a nod and a reassuring smile. Then Taylor looked back at me and pulled me into a hug. Her hugs were always my favorite.
“As shocked as I am, I’m very happy for you. I can’t believe you’re getting married” the excitement in her voice was back, and it made me happy.
Rocky went around to Blake and hugged him. Those two had made an adorable bond.
“Well, well, well, you finally grew the balls, huh? I just didn’t realize you were this serious,” Rocky laughed.
“Hey, I always had the balls. Unfortunately, she took longer than necessary to say yes,” Blake replied.
“Hang on. You told Rocky?” I asked him.
Blake chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah, I had told him. Although I had already asked you to marry me when I told him. I just
said to him that I was interested.”
“How rude! When was anyone going to tell me ?!” Taylor shrieked.
“Oh babe, I didn’t know the whole thing. I am as shocked about all this as you are, I swear,” Rocky whined.
“Ok, whatever. So, when are we celebrating ?! This is huge, and I’m not letting it go without a party, Mr. Cooper. We know your pockets are deep as fuck, so no takeouts and cheap booze.” Taylor laughed. Rocky nodded and laughed as well.
“Ahhh, I will let you know. I have that Gala tomorrow; you two haven’t forgotten about it, right?” I looked at them both, and they shook their
heads.
“Good, don’t be late. I’ll have to see you guys there because I have last–minute touches, so I’ll just get dressed at the office.”
“Rosy, I’m sure Seth can handle it. You don’t have to get ready there. I’ll bring you back to get dressed,” Blake said.
“Nah, it’s okay, really. I was planning on using your office bathroom anyway.” I laughed, and Blake smiled at me.
“Sure thing. I’ll make sure to get rid of all my nasty toilet time magazines Blake laughed, and so did Rocky.
