Chapter 77
I looked at the time for the 10th time and paced around in my
room. Butterflies fluttered around in my belly. Why the hell was I so
nervous?! I knew Blake and it wasn’t the first time I was going to be
alone with him.
Taylor had curled my long hair and brushed it so it had beautiful
beach waves. I put on light make up and added a cropped denim
jacket to the beautiful dress Blake had bought. When I put on the
earrings and the necklace, I felt nauseous. They were two very
expensive things that I wasn’t used to. Why did they have so much
money to waste?!
I borrowed Taylor’s nude wedges to compliment the outfit. Taylor
insisted I wear lacy underwear just in case we got into the mood for
something naughty. Honestly, I was at that point where I wouldn’t
even stop Blake if he did rip my panties off.
I was silently hoping he would fuck my brains out. My body was starting to beg for Blake’s touch. Taylor inspected me top to bottom before she gave me two thumbs up and went home. I knew the moment she learned I was back, she would either come over or call me to know all the details.
As I paced around in my room, I kept thinking about why Blake had

organised all this. Taylor was right. Blake and I hadn’t really dated.
After I moved in, we did small things like dinners or trips to the pier
but it wasn’t classified as a date. It was two friends hanging out. Was
this Blake’s way of getting to know more about me that wasn’t related
to my past? We hadn’t spoken much about the present.
I heard the main door open and my eyes darted to the time. It was
6:50 pm. The door closed and inched closer to my bedroom door so I
could hear the movements. I waited to hear something but there was
pin–drop silence.
I jumped when there was a gentle knock on my bedroom door. I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. There on the other side stood Blake. He was wearing black jeans and a white polo t–shirt that cling to his delicious body. For once his hair wasn’t gelled back,
instead, it was just combed to the side.

“Hey, beautiful. Miss me?” He had been gone all day. I tried calling him to ask about this evening but he didn’t answer or reply to me.
“Where the hell have you been?” I crossed my arms.
“I’m sorry baby. Something came up at work and I had to go sort it out” he rubbed the back of his neck. He was hiding something. He
usually did that when he was trying to make up a lie.

I didn’t move from my spot. He owed me a better explanation than
that.
“Oh come, babe. I’ll make it up to you tonight, I promise.” He took
a step forward and put his hands on my waist pulling me closer to
him, placing a kiss on my forehead.
I closed my eyes and savoured the feel of his lips on my skin.
“You look beautiful by the way. I knew that dress was perfect for
you” he said, gently cupping my face with his hand and rubbing his thumb against my cheek. He had a big smile on his face like he was
very proud of his accomplishments.
I couldn’t help but smile back at him. His smiles were infectious
and honestly, they made me panties wet. I squeezed my thighs together. His thumb gently stroked my bottom lip and his smile was quickly replaced by a hungry look. He stared down at my lips and licked his own lips. I knew if I didn’t change the topic now, we
probably were going to end up on my bed doing some nasty things.
“So, where exactly are we going?” I cleared my throat.
“Now that’s a surprise.” He winked at me. He kept one arm wrapped
behind my back and lead as into the living area.

There was a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses sitting on the
counter. I walked up to them I sniffed.
“Blakey, these are gorgeous.” The flowers were so pretty. He
remembered what my favourite flowers were.
