“Put yourself in Halsey’s shoes–if I took in a friend who wasn’t well off, and she barged into my fiancé’s
shower at night in a camisole, I wouldn’t stand for it either!”
“You’re way over the line!”
“Are you into Mr. Lane or something?”
“She definitely is! Just now, when Mr. Lane called her name, everyone saw how happy she looked, all flustered

All the classmates pointed fingers at Sierra, whispering and gossiping.
Halsey sneered. “Sierra, I didn’t want to make a big deal out of this, but since you wouldn’t let it go and even

Sierra panicked. She hadn’t expected Shaun to show up as Halsey’s backup, and for both of them to team up to

She turned to Zada for help. Right now, Zada was her only ally.
Zada stood up. “Halsey, this happened a while ago. Didn’t we agree not to talk about it?”

With the pregnancy announcement, the classmates went wild. “Looks like we’re not just attending a wedding-
we’re also having a baby shower!”
Halsey’s eyes glowed with a soft, happy light. “Of course. We’ll invite everyone when the time comes!”
