The unfamiliar presence instantly put Shaun on alert. He opened his eyes.
“What are you doing?” He turned and saw Sierra standing there. “Sierra?”
His handsome face instantly hardened, his expression filled with disgust.
Sierra looked at him, trying to sound calm. “Yes, it’s me.”
Shaun narrowed his eyes.
“How did you even get here?” Then, he sneered. “You didn’t follow me here, did you?”
Sierra smirked. “Yes, I did follow you.”
Shaun’s face turned icy. “Just spit it out. What exactly do you want?”
Sierra smiled seductively and walked up to him in her heels. “I don’t want anything. I just saw you weren’t feeling well and wanted to help.”
Shaun shook his head. “That’s not necessary. You can leave now.”
Sierra didn’t move. “You know Halsey and I are close friends. I know she’s pregnant and can’t really take care of you. As her friend, I’m willing to do it for her. And don’t worry. I won’t let her find out.”
Shaun stared at her coldly. “Are you done? I told you to leave. If you don’t, you’re not gonna walk out of here.”
Sierra tilted her head, trying to sound teasing.
“You’re so scary when you act like that! There’s no one else here, so you don’t need to pretend to be all proper. All men are the same. Why stick with one when there are plenty of fish in the sea?”
She slowly unbuttoned her blouse, peeling off her jacket. Her figure was fully revealed in front of Shaun.
Sierra said confidently, “Take a good look! I dare you to tell me you don’t feel anything!”
She had always been proud of her body, and she had every reason to be–her curves and her big bosom were all designed to turn heads.
Shaun gave her a cold glance. “Honestly… You’re nothing special.”
Sierra froze. “What did you-”
Shaun interrupted, his tone sharp. “I’ve seen plenty of shameless women, but you’re the first to make me actually lose my appetite.”
He then turned his head to the door.
“Hey! Anyone out there?”
Sierra’s face went pale. She hadn’t expected him not to care when she was standing in front of him, half naked.

Shaun genuinely had no interest in her. Sierra could tell in an instant whether a man was interested–and his eyes held only coldness and contempt.
Soon, the club owner’s voice came from outside the door. “Mr. Lane, need any help?”
Someone was coming in.
Sierra scrambled to pick up her clothes and put them on.
Shaun leaned back on the sofa, looking at her as if she were a clown. “Scared now? Since you like stripping so much, I figured you could go out and put on a show for everyone!”
His words stabbed directly at Sierra’s heart, shattering all her pride and dignity.
Sierra glared at him, furious. “Did you think I wasn’t prepared?”
Shaun’s cold tone cut through. “What do you mean?”
Without another word, Sierra pinched her own skin in several places. Her pale skin quickly turned blue and purple, and tears streamed down her face.
Then, she screamed, “Help! Somebody, help me!”
The club owner, hearing the commotion, immediately pushed the door open and rushed in with his staff. ” What’s going on here?”
