Chapter 1064
The lawyer nodded. “Go ahead. I’ll take care of things here.”
Zada replied, “Okay.”
She walked out of the police station and pulled out her phone, dialing Halsey’s number. The line rang once before being picked up at a calm, unhurried pace.
Halsey’s voice came through. “Hey.”
“Where are you? I need to see you. There’s something really important I have to ask you!”
Halsey replied, “Let’s meet at our usual café.”
“Okay,” Zada said before hanging up. She then headed straight to the café.
At the same time, Halsey was in the CEO’s office at Lane Corporation with Shaun and Warren.
After hanging up, Shaun asked, “What did Zada want?”
“She wants to meet me at a café,” Halsey replied.
“Go,” Shaun said. “I’m sure you know already. There can’t be such a weird coincidence. I arranged for the three guys to show up in front of Zada.”
Warren added, “You had Shaun investigate Zada’s situation. He found the three guys, taught them a lesson, and then arranged for them to appear in front of Zada on purpose. The goal was to let her see the truth about that night herself.”
Halsey couldn’t help but give Shaun a thumbs–up. “That’s some amazing work!”
Shaun wrapped his arms around her. “We staged the whole thing perfectly. Sierra didn’t see it coming. She’s off guard now.”
Halsey leaned closer. “Now, we can reveal her true colors, cutting off her control at the root. Zada’s a good person. We need to save her. If she stayed close to Sierra, she’d definitely be used and betrayed.”
Warren nodded. “Zada is too trusting and easy to fool. She needs to face the truth directly and realize it for herself.”
Shaun smiled. “She’s probably falling apart right now.”
Halsey’s eyes gleamed. “I’d better head out now.”
“Okay. I can’t show myself right now. I’ll have the driver take you. Be careful,” Shaun said.
Halsey smiled, “Don’t worry. I’ve got this.”
Half an hour later, Halsey arrived at the café. She spotted Zada sitting by the window.

“Zada, have you been waiting long?” Halsey asked, sliding into the seat across from her.
Zada’s face was pale, almost ghostly. “I’ve been here a little while.”
Halsey leaned in. “What did you want to tell me?”

Zada took a deep breath. “I ran into the three guys from that night. Can you believe it? Sierra actually hired them! I don’t understand why she would do this. We were supposed to be friends!”
Halsey’s expression hardened. “She was using you.”
“Using me?” Zada echoed, shocked.
“Yes. She deliberately sent those three guys to attack you. Then she pretended to save you at the last minute, naturally earning your trust and becoming your friend. But her real target was me.”
“You?” Zada whispered.
Halsey nodded and pulled out a photo. “Sierra isn’t really who she appears to be. She had plastic surgery. This is what she really looked like.”
Zada took the photo, seeing the original Sierra–her true identity, Sienna.
“Sierra’s real name is Sienna Hawk. She used to date Gilbert,” Halsey explained. “She couldn’t have me, so she became obsessed and had surgery to become Sierra. You were just a pawn in her game.”
