Chapter 49
Kane’s POV
With a sense of urgency burning in my chest, I wasted no time in springing into action. Every instinct screamed at me to find Tessa and Erin, to bring them back safely and make whoever was responsible pay for their actions starting with Margo Felicity herself.
–
“Kane, remember you will need to appoint another headmistress for the centre until Margo is dealt with?” Anthony guides me, as we prepare a plan in the meeting room.
“Yeah, the young girl who showed us to our room last night. I pick her!” I state firmly, having only gotten a good vibe from the girl despite her age compared to the old hag Margo.
Perhaps this place needs a breath of fresh air? A human with feelings?!
“Have you contacted my best warriors? Tell them to prepare to fly to Russia as soon as possible! We will meet them there in the morning!” I ask Seth, who nods and dials the number – relaying the
message to get things moving.
I wasn’t prepared to take this whole incident lightly.
We quickly gathered a team of our most trusted allies, wolves who were skilled in tracking and
combat, wolves who would stop at nothing to help us bring Tessa and Erin home under my demand.
As we made the right phone calls and briefed them on the situation, I was thankful for the masses of
support I had been offered thus far.
“All of the males who are here from our pack are gathering their stuff to head to our jet right now.
We can leave when you want.” Anthony informs me, as I roll out the Russian map which shows
where each pack is based and where their territories start and end.
There were sixteen in total, which made matters worse, as I debated how to find out which exact
pack they had been taken to.
“Any luck with security cameras yet?” I push, as Anthony shakes his head and sighs.
“They are checking the airport ones now, surely they will have something?” Seth adds, as I nod once
and hope that he’s right.

Chapter 49
Our first order of business was to gather as much information as possible about the two Russian males who had kidnapped Tessa and Erin- if we know who they are then we can figure out what pack they are from.
Margo Felicity, despite her earlier deception, proved to be a valuable resource, providing us with a detailed description of the two men and the private jet they had used to transport the girls in. She wouldn’t go into anymore detail though about why they had taken them or why they had paid so much money for them when they could easily date females from their home land…
It was all unanswered questions that I would fight to get to the bottom of one way or another.
They had left this morning, I know that, which means that they must still be flying. We might have enough time to hack the cameras at each Russian airport to look out for the plane…
“Seth get Reggie on the phone, ask if he can hack the Russian coms and look for their flight coming in – it’s a black plane with a Russian flag on the side that left here this morning!” I state my thoughts as Seth nods and gets right on it.
It was now a race against time, the minutes ticking by like agonizing hours as we searched for any sign of Tessa and Erin’s location…
But despite our best efforts, the trail seemed to grow cold at every turn. The Russian males had covered their tracks well, leaving us with little to go on as we raced against the clock to find them.
“Alpha! Alpha we found two Russian spies camping out in the woods! We don’t know if they are connected but we are assuming so?!” Two males from my pack come bursting through the door, causing myself, Seth and Anthony to pounce up at the update.
Perfect!
We follow them through the hallways, which had been evacuated with humans and staff to allow my pack the space to work, before we come into a small locked room – revealing two men both tied to
chairs.
They begin to both yell in Russian, as I cringe and suddenly grow irritated by the accent.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP! English?!” I bark in my Alpha tone, asserting my dominance as they both instantly realise my power above them.

As though they had seen a ghost, they glance to one another with nerves on what to do or say going
forward.
“Not too good, English.” One of them attempts, as Ihod once in understanding.
“It will do!” I state firmly, as they again both glance to one another for guidance.
With a steely glare, I fix my gaze on the two captives, my patience wearing thin as I demand
answers.
“Where are they?” I bark, my voice cutting through the tense silence of the room.
The two men exchange nervous glances before one of them speaks up in broken English. “We… we do not know,” he stammers, his eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape.
I narrow my eyes, a surge of frustration rising within me. “Don’t play games with me,” I growl, taking a step closer to the captives. “You know more than what you’re letting on, and I want answers. Now.”
I spit.
The two men exchange another glance before the other one speaks up, his voice trembling with fear.
“We were paid to help transport them,” he confesses, his words coming out in a rush. “But we do not know where exactly they were taken. They are travelling to the North that’s all we know!” He claims, as I nod once and mentally narrow down to four packs residing in the North of Russia.
But before I can press the captives further, Seth interrupts with urgent news.
“Kane, Reggie called and said that he found their flight path,” Seth announces, his voice tense with anticipation. “They landed at a private airstrip just outside of Norilsk. We have their location.” He states, as I nod and sigh.
Relief floods through me at the news, but it’s quickly replaced by a renewed sense of determination. “Get the coordinates,” I command, my mind already racing with plans for our next move. “We’re going to get them back, no matter what it takes.” I state, before instructing two of my men to keep a
watch over our captives.
With a sense of urgency, we spring into action, mobilizing our pack members and having everyone head to the set location to meet by morning.

Chapter 49
Every moment counts, and we can’t afford to waste any time as we race to rescue Tessa and Erin
from their captors.
20%
As we make our final preparations to depart, I can’t shake the feeling of unease that lingers in the pit of my stomach. The journey ahead will be dangerous and fraught with peril, but I know that we have no choice but to press forward and fuck shit up in order to get them both back.
With a silent vow to bring our girls home safely, I lead our pack out of the compound and into the unknown, ready to face whatever challenges await us in our quest for justice…
