“Don’t call me cute.” Kade said as he rested his head on my chest.
I stroked his cars. It was so soft.
As I stroked and caressed his ears, his tail wagged uncontrollably. I have read that those with tails are said to express their emotions through them. They couldn’t control it. The tail has a mind of its own.
God, he was so damn cute!

I closed my eyes just because, focusing. I stayed like that for a while, but I didn’t-

Being able to feel his emotions was unexpected and overwhelming, but I love it. God, I love it so damn much that tears poured down my face.
The love I could feel coming from him was overwhelming, as if it wanted to drown me. But I know Kade’s love will only bring me happiness, and nothing but that. And feeling this felt like he was filling me with his love. It felt like his love was flowing into me and healing those cracks that had formed over the years.
I didn’t want to talk down on the dead, but Luca didn’t love me this much. He loved me, I know, but not to the extent that Kade does.
We made love again, much slower and gentler than the first, our eyes fixed on each other, our fingers interlocked, car bodies moving together in perfect rhythm and harmony, our souls pressing each other

I remembered our wedding months ago, when we both stepped out of the ball, and he was smoking a rigate, I had told him then that I wanted a fairytale wedding, even though it wasn’t real, even though we didn’t have feelings for each other. I just wanted that dream of a fairytale wedding to come true.
But here we were months later, overflowing with love for each other. The wedding was going to be real and we had love pouring out for each other.

“Yes,” I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. “Yes, let’s have a fairytale wedding, Il mio dolce marito”

I shook my head, even more confused.
I rested his forehead on mine, closing his eyes. “There’s life inside you, my darling.”

“New life.” He opened his eyes, pulling back and caressing my face, a soft look in his eyes. “You’re pregnant.”
