I stared at the triplets in disbelief.
Were they seriously considering taking me to the beach for a few days?
Do they have any idea how much work it is to have a disabled person with them?
“That sounds like a great idea,” Grey commented from behind me.“What do you say?Will you go with us?”
Grey walked to Colt’s side so that I could see him.
“Uhm, “I hesitated.“I don’t think it is such a great idea,“I said.

“Guys,“I said, and I pushed my wheelchair forward.“How are you going to get me inside the…”

“No,“Grey answered, shaking his head.
“Then another issue is,“I said, raising my eyebrows,“how will I be able to have a bath or shower?”
“That’s a minor issue,“Colt said.

“Is it?“I asked.“My father went and renovated the packhouse to let me be able to move around,take a shower on my own, and go to the
bathroom.”
Colt snorted, cutting me off.
“What’s so funny?“I asked,getting annoyed.
I knew it was a mistake to let them into my life.They wouldn’t understand how difficult this whole situation was.
“Nothing funny,” he said,getting serious.“I just think you are looking for an excuse not to go with us.”
‘I am not!“I said, pushing my wheelchair past them.
‘I think you are!“Colt said, and I stopped, turned the wheelchair around, and looked at him.I was about to lose my temper.
“This was a mistake!“I growled.“I should never have let you into my life. You don’t understand…”
Colt smiled at me and walked closer. He squatted down to my level,and I turned my face away from him.
Tears were burning behind my eyes.
I hated this.I hated hurting them and myself.
I can’t live like this anymore.
Why was I punished like that?

“Kate,look at me,‘Colt said, taking my hand.

Colt carefully turned my face and wiped the spilled tears from my face.

I shook my head as I lifted my gaze to look at him.
“Sam,“I said. “You have been in my bedroom;did you see how much space I need to move around?”
Sam walked forward and placed his hand on my shoulder.
“I have seen your room,yes,” he said,nodding, “but I know for a fact that you will be able to go to the bathroom and move around
without any issues with where we are going.”
“What do you mean?” I asked,wiping tears from my eyes.
He chuckled.
“Our grandfather was a huge wolf,“Grey said, “and he built the place. You will easily be able to move around.`
“And we will help you in and out of the bath,“Colt said.“Just wear a T–shirt, and you can take it off when you get inside.”
I shook my head,listening to the triplets ‘plans.They had an answer for everything.
“I still don’t think it’s a bright idea,“I argued.
“Come on, Sam said.“Live a little.”
“It will be fun, Grey chirped.
“It will do you good, Colt said,getting to his feet.
“So now you think of my well–being?” I said, feeling a new set of tears burn in my eyes.
Colt knitted his eyebrows together,searching my gaze.
“We have always thought of your well–being, he said seriously.

I sighed and took a deep breath.
“Fine, “I said.“I will go with you.”
The triplets jumped in excitement like five–year–olds.

“You will have to ask my father if I can leave,” I said.
