Catherine’s POV
I silently watched Grey sink to his knees, his face in his hands.
“What sorcery is this?” He whispered.
“Kia,“I answered.” She provided me with the ability to show you.”
“I told you to calm the f*ck down!“Colt said it angrily.“I told you
that Sam isn’t out to take Kate from us.”
“This is not how Sam is!“He argued.“The Sam we know…”
“It’s selfish,“Colt said.“I know.”
“But he changed, “I said.“And you are destroying the bond that
makes you brothers.”
“But…”
“No!“I stopped him.“Kia said that, or I will accept you all,or I will
have to reject you all,else the balance will be disturbed.”

Chapter 61
Before anyone could say another word,we were back in the living
room, and I blinked against the bright light.
The weather outside had changed, and it seemed like rain.
“Grey,“I said.“Tell me what you saw.”
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” he said,getting to his
feet.
“You know exactly what she is talking about,“Colt said, getting to
his feet as well.“Is that the reason why you are freaking out? Why have
you been an asshole nonstop?”
I was pretty sure that whatever vision Grey had was influencing
him to act like this,not the fact that his brother had slept around
before he met me.I was sure he was using that excuse to drive Sam
out.This wasn’t just about him being jealous of Sam and his sluts.
My heart pinched, but I recovered quickly.
“I can’t,” Grey said,turning and heading to the exit.
“You have to,” I replied. “Whatever you saw is busy coming
true,and if you keep on reacting like this, Sam will leave.”

Colt’s head snapped toward me,his eyes filled with worry. His
brother might annoy the living sh*t out of him,but he still loved him
in his own way.
“What are you saying?“Colt asked,shaken.
“Grey needs to tell us,“I said calmly, turning my attention to
him. He was already standing at the door,hesitating.
He shifted his gaze,looking over the ocean.
“A storm is coming, “he said. “I had better go find Sam.”
“I am coming with you,“Colt said.
“No,” Grey stopped him.“I need to do this myself.I messed up,and
it is costing us our bond.I can feel it.”
Grey shifted into his wolf and took off.I grabbed Colt’s
arm,shaking my head.
“Let him go, “I said.“They need to sort it out themselves.”
“What if?”
“Grey knows the truth,“I said.“He will find him on time.”

Colt’s gaze snapped back toward me,and he knitted his eyebrows
together.
“What are you saying?” He asked, bewildered.
“Sam is about to go rogue, “I explained.“He feels that he doesn’t
deserve to be part of your bond.Cutting it off will let you two have me
for yourselves.”
“F*ck!“Colt gasped and combed his fingers through his hair.
He never thought that Sam would ever react like that.
As soon as Sam steps over the pack’s borderline and claims to go
rogue,all ties with the pack will be broken, as will all ties with his
family and friends.
Colt and Grey will feel the broken bond as if they were
rejected,and it might even touch me.
“I need to go and help, Grey,“Colt said. “I need to tell Sam I’m
sorry as well.”
I shook my head.
“If you go,“I said, “Sam will think that you forced Grey to go and

apologize. You can talk to him later when they return.”
Colt became quiet and stared out the door.
“Do you know what Grey’s vision is about?” He asked.
“No,“I said.“But I know it has something to do with all four of us.”
“I wasn’t happy about what I saw in my vision,“Colt said, taking a seat.He looked angry and disappointed. “Sam, on the other hand,was so happy,” he said.“He turned into a lovesick puppy and couldn’t wait
to taste you. He told us how we would take turns having you.”
My insides burned hearing it,and I chuckled,amused.
It was typical that Sam got the love vision, and the rest of us got a
glimpse of something else in the future.
“What was your vision about?” I asked, interested to know.
“You were standing on stage, happily waving at pack
members, Colt said, and his face heated up.
“Something the matter?” I asked.
“I wasn’t happy with the idea that my brothers were standing

“They are surprisingly good, “I commented, and I popped another
piece into my mouth.
“They smell like you,“Colt said, and I blushed.
“Does your mother like baking?“I asked, trying to change the
subject.I used to help my mother in the kitchen, but I failed
miserably.
The chances were higher for me to burn the place down than to
be able to prepare a decent meal.
“She loves it, “Colt said.“Sam bribed my mother to have those
baked.He is her favorite.”
Colt suddenly went silent, and his face twisted in worry–Sam and
Grey hadn’t returned yet, and both their links were shut.
“Have you tried linking with them again?“I asked.
Colt’s eyes grew wide, and he jumped to his feet.Then he dashed
out of the living room without an explanation.
