“You should! A man like him… Wait, what did you just say?” Chloe’s voice shot up in surprise, as though she’d misheard.

Once Chloe confirmed Florence wasn’t

Her considerate words left Albert feeling warm inside.

“I’ll leave once you sign this.”
Albert’s jaw tightened as he stared at the papers, not expecting she was serious about the divorce.
Meanwhile, Isabella’s heart raced with excitement. If she could, she’d grab the pen and sign for him herself.
“I told you, divorce isn’t happening. We’ll talk at home tonight. Stop being so unreasonable, okay?” Albert’s voice was controlled, mindful of the directors

Trying to salvage the situation, Isabella stepped forward, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “Florence, you’ve misunderstood. Mr. Morris didn’t stay with me all night. He just checked on me. As for why he didn’t go home, I wouldn’t know.”
Florence’s laugh was sharp and cold.
She pulled out her phone, opened Isabella’s post, and held it up. “The man in this picture… if it’s not Albert, then
who? And that limited–edition shirt he’s
wearing? I bought it. Unless you happen to know another man with the exact same
