Chapter 11 Screw You

Vivienne soon reacted. She clamped her mouth shut and tilted her head away.

Failing to kiss her, Sebastian wouldn’t give up. He pinned her down, making another attempt brutally.

She wanted to slap him, only to have her wrist grasped by him.

Pinning her hand above her head, he fumed, “Do you really think you get to stop me if I wanna touch you?”

Saying nothing, she glared at him with great hatred.

On top of her, he pinned down both her arms while using his knees to immobilize her legs.

Though immobilized, she still tilted her head away with all her might to avoid his kiss.

However, driven by fury, he acted without any mercy or gentleness at all, and his lips brushed against her ear several times.

His intimate behavior with Eliza all came flooding back to her, and she couldn’t help but feel sick.

Pantu Sebastian stopped.

Pressing close to her ear, he said, “Get Dad to forgive you. Then we’ll go back to how things were before.”

She spat, “Screw you!”

The veins on his temple bulged. “Don’t be so ungrateful. Since I made you, I can very much destroy you.”

She sneered with contempt, “Sign the divorce papers if you’ve got some balls.”

His eyes turned bloodshot, and his twisted face reminded her of an enraged beast.

“Vivienne, you left me no choice! I promise I’ll make you crawl back to me and beg for my mercy.”

Less than ten hours later, she knew he meant it this time.

A lot of people gathered at the R&D center entrance.

The police were waiting for her. “Vivienne Lancaster?”

Kimberly was already restrained. She cried while apologizing, “Ms. Lancaster, I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…”

Before Vivienne reacted, the police presented their credentials.

“Ms. Lancaster, we suspect that you’re involved in a trade secret violation. Come with us to the station for further investigation.”

As the police escorted Vivienne to the car, a lot of media reporters aimed their cameras at her.

Meanwhile, quite a lot of onlookers spat at her with great resentment.

She saw Lucinda among the crowd.

Only then did her heart really start to ache.

No mother in this world wanted her kids to see her put in a police car.

Lucinda burst into tears. “I don’t want a woman like her as my mommy! No!”

Eliza picked her up and walked toward Vivienne with a smile.

They were so close that Eliza could even see her own reflection in Vivienne’s pupils.

With a twisted smile, she said, “Sebastian is mine.

‘It must feel great being stabbed in the back by the man you love the most and your most trusted assistant, right?”

Vivienne’s face turned livid, and even her hands were trembling slightly.

she said through gritted teeth, “You threatened Kimberly, didn’t you? You threatened her with Corelynx Hearth Center and her grandpa!”

Tell that to the police, Vivienne.”

At the station, the police asked Vivienne if she had instructed Kimberly to leak the blueprints of Vanta X3 chips and sell the

echnical specifications to foreign companies.

Vivienne firmly denied all allegations against her.

Meanwhile, Kimberly confessed, saying the jewelry found at her place was given by Vivienne to sell, not as a reward. Also, it was she who had leaked the data, not Vivienne.

After legally questioning Vivienne during her detention, the police came to the conclusion that she didn’t commit any crime and released her immediately.

Shortly after that, Kimberly was released, too, because of Sebastian’s arrangement.

She came to Vivienne, bowing deeply while apologizing in anguish, “Mr. Hartwell sent my grandfather abroad. Mrs. Hartwell, you know how ill he is-besides, he has no arms. I couldn’t even imagine how he could possibly survive out there. I had no choice but to do as Mr. Hartwell said.”

Vivienne didn’t blame Kimberly, but she wouldn’t trust Kimberly again either.

She said, “Leave. And take those jewels with you. Your touch has already tainted them.”

Chapter 11 Screw You

Kimberly bit her lip so hard that it bled.

“Mrs. Hartwell… I promise I’ll come back to beg for your forgiveness after my grandfather passes away.”

Vivienne seldom cried, but she shed tears uncontrollably while clutching the hem of her clothes as Kimberly turned around.

She thought, “Sebastian is way more scheming than I imagined. I didn’t give him enough credit.

“Chip technology comes with extreme complexity, and billion-dollar investments are common. Therefore, chip engineers can’t afford to have their reputation tainted even the slightest.

“Sebastian never wants me or Kimberly to go to jail. Instead, he wants people to believe I have the motive to sell trade secrets while the scandal is still raging.

‘He wants me to be banned from this industry for good!”

The sky darkened, threatening rain.

Vivienne went back to Rose Manor. Upon seeing her, Ivy advised, “Mrs. Hartwell, why don’t you just yield to Mr. Hartwell this

ime?”

No matter how capable Vivienne was, she had no connections and was no match for him and his family at all.

Yet, Vivienne said calmly, “I’m still alive, aren’t I?”

Her being alive meant she still had a shot at turning the tables.

She walked into the hall, straightening her back.

Sebastian and Jonathan were smoking, whereas Eliza was eagerly making tea for them like their maid.

Jpon seeing her, Jonathan mocked, “Only gentle, considerate women like Eli deserve to be doted on by men. Those shrews who don’t know their places are meant to be dumped.”

She ignored his barb, her gaze falling upon the divorce agreement in front of Sebastian.

With a cigarette between his lips, Sebastian pushed the papers forward.

‘You’ve got two options. If you stop asking for a divorce, I’ll help you get rid of your notorious…”

“I’ll get a divorce. I’ll be damned if I don’t!” she cut him off sharply.

He bit down on the cigarette so hard that it snapped.

“Fine. Let’s settle some accounts, then.

“We were married for six years, and you only gave birth to a daughter. She’ll be mine, and you won’t get to see her again.”

Chapter 11 Screw You

He was slightly stunned. Then he continued, “Corelynx Hearth Center is owned by Corelynx Technologies, and I’m sure you know how much money is allocated to the center each year. Also, the packaging plant in Rivemont with disabled workers has been losing money every year. You can offset these with Rose Manor.”

He deliberately left out all the perks.

Since funding Corelynx Hearth Center and the packaging plant, Corelynx Technologies had gained national popularity, and its electronic product sales crushed its competitors and had been ranking first over the years.

Also, Sebastian was praised as the perfect husband for how much he “loved” her.

He continued, “I’ll make an official announcement tomorrow. Per your request, we’ll get a divorce, and you’ll voluntarily repa the 300 million dollars investment in developing Vanta X3 chips.”

After saying this, he leaned back slightly and looked at Vivienne coldly.

He thought, “If she’s not entirely stupid, she’ll know she’s cornered, and her life will be ruined.

“Other than me, no one else will want her. After all, she’ll be an infertile, disgraced, and divorced woman drowning in debt.

Yet, Vivienne’s expression remained calm and composed.

Without so much of a frown, she signed the divorce papers, photographed them with her phone, and posted them on social

media.

The caption was, “We’ll get a divorce certificate in thirty days. Take screenshots if you want. When the time comes, whoever

doesn’t divorce will be damned!”

She did all this so swiftly that it left Sebastian utterly stunned.
