Ritual 9

The guards immediately got to work, starting to beat up Marcus and his crew

I watched with cold satisfaction as Dominic’s elite guard wolves sprang into action. These weren’t ordinary pack warriorsthey were the Northern Territory’s finest, trained killers who had fought in territorial wars

The guards instantly shifted into wolf form, their eyes blazing with murderous ferocity as they bared their fangs and lunged at Marcus’s group. Their growls were deep and terrifying, the sound of predators who had tasted blood before

Marcus and the others hastily transformed to fight back, but it was pathetic to watch. They were soft city wolves who had never seen real combat

The guard wolves were welltrained and powerfully built, their muscles rippling under their thick coats. They moved with deadly precision, each strike calculated to cause maximum pain and humiliation

Within seconds, they had completely overpowered the birthday party guests

Marcus himself was pinned down by the largest guard wolf, who placed one massive paw on his throat and applied just enough pressure to make him gasp for air

Please!Marcus wheezed. I can’t breathe!”

The wolf’s response was to press down harder, making Marcus’s face turn red

The dress Serena had carefully chosen for the child’s birthday partymy expensive designer dress that she’d stolen from my closetwas torn to shreds by claws and fangs

She screamed as the fabric ripped: Stop! This dress cost ten thousand dollars!”

Not your money though, was it?I called out coldly

The diamond necklace around her neckalso minesnapped when a guard wolf grabbed her by the throat. Precious stones scattered and rolled across the floor like worthless pebbles

Her hair was pulled into a messy tangle, and her onceperfect makeup was completely ruined. Black mascara streaked down her

cheeks like tears

She was cornered against the wall by two snarling guard wolves, bloody scratches across her face and arms. She could only hold her head and scream for mercy

I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Please don’t hurt me anymore!”

But the wolves weren’t finished with her. One of them grabbed her expensive handbagalso stolen from my collectionand ripped it apart, spilling its contents across the floor

Her son was so terrified he wailed at the top of his lungs, the sound piercing and grating

While crying, he still had the audacity to curse at the guard wolves: Bad dogs! I hate you! My daddy will punish you!”

One of the wolves had clearly had enough of the brat’s mouth. It grabbed him by the back of his collar like picking up a chicken and carried him toward the storage room

Mommy! Mommy, help me!the child screamed

But Serena was too busy trying to protect herself to help her son

The wolf tossed him into the storage room like a bag of garbage and used its claws to latch the door shut. The child’s muffled screams continued from inside

The other werewolf guests at the birthday party were in complete chaos, running around like headless chickens

them to the ground

We didn’t do anything wrong!one guest pleaded as he was pinned down. We were just invited to a party!”

You destroyed my property,I said simply. That makes you liable.”

Others tried to hide behind furniture, but there was nowhere to run in my own house

The wolves dragged them out one by one, showing no mercy for their tears and pleas

They were all thrown out together onto my front lawn like garbage bags on collection day

I stood in my doorway and threw the compensation list in front of them. The paper fluttered down and landed in the dirt

When they calmed down enough to read it, their faces went through a rainbow of emotionsconfusion, shock, terror, and finally desperate panic

Serena’s friends all turned pale with fear as the numbers sank in

Twenty thousand for the vintage wine collection destroyed”

Fifty thousand for the damaged artwork”

One hundred thousand for the custom furniture”

The list went on and on

They shouted loudly outside the door: Are you trying to scam us? These prices are impossible!”

I said coldly, If you’re not satisfied, we can get an independent appraisal. I can also provide all the original purchase receipts and transaction records.”

I pulled out my phone and showed them photos of the receipts. Every single item was documented with proof of purchase

Their faces fell as they realized I wasn’t bluffing

The enforcement squad arrived quicklyDominic had connections that made them very responsive to our calls

The officers investigated the scene thoroughly, taking photos and documenting every piece of damage

This is extensive property destruction, the lead officer announced. We’ve documented damage to over fifty individual items

They found that almost everyone at the party had participated in damaging property in some way. Whether it was throwing food, breaking decorations, or just being part of the mob that had trashed my home

When the total costs were divided among all the participants, each person ended up with individual debts of several million

dollars

Those people were completely terrified when they saw their individual bills

The reality was crushing. Most of them made ordinary salaries and could never pay such amounts

Many of them immediately turned on Serena with desperate anger: Serena, we only came because of your invitation! You said this was your house! Now that we’re in this mess, you need to take responsibility!”

Everyone started complaining to Serena, their eyes full of dissatisfaction and growing rage: Serena, we all came to this birthday party because of you! You told us you were the lady of this house!”

We trusted you!” another guest shouted. You said we could celebrate here freely!”

The crowd began to stir with angry energy. Serena, we only got mixed up in this trouble because we were trying to support you and your son!”

You can’t just watch us pay this compensation money, can you?One werewolf frowned, his tone becoming threatening. We came here as your friends!”

That’s right!Another chimed in, his face full of expectation. Your mate Marcus seems to be someone important in the Eastern Territory. This amount of money is just pocket change to you two, right?”

But even as they said it, they could see Marcus cowering on the ground, clearly not the powerful figure Serena had portrayed him

  1. as

Someone shouted desperately: Serena, don’t just watch us suffer! If you pay this money, we’ll still be good friends afterward. Otherwise, this friendship is really over!”

Yeah! You brought us into this mess, you get us out!”

Hearing these increasingly hostile words, Serena’s eyes showed panic and desperation

She looked at Marcus with a pleading expression, her voice cracking: Marcus, with your status in the Eastern Territory, this money shouldn’t be much to you, right? Maybe you could help everyone out?”

She was still clinging to the fantasy that Marcus had money and power

Marcus kept his head down, not saying a word. His expression was grim and defeated

He knew the truthhe had nothing. No money, no real status, no way to help anyone

At this moment, someone raised their voice and said loudly with growing aggression: Marcus, just be straightforward and pay this money! Don’t make everyone uncomfortable!”

Come on, man! Show us what kind of Alpha you really are!”

Prove you can take care of your mate’s promises!”

The crowd was getting uglier, their desperation turning into mob mentality

Before Marcus could respondthough what could he possibly say?-his mother got anxious and started shouting
