Chapter 7
On the day I was discharged, my father happily set off more than a dozen firecrackers at the
entrance.
His men, all in black suits and sunglasses, stood in two neat rows at the door, shouting my name in
unison, “Congratulations on Miss Moon’s discharge!”
As far as the eye could see, there were countless luxury cars.
My father personally opened the door of the lead car and even learned from online videos to say
proudly, “Princess, please get in.”
I covered my mouth and laughed for a long time before getting in the car to leave.
But why did this route look more and more unfamiliar?
Noticing my confusion, my father smiled and patted my head. “Would Dad really sell you out?
Those little brats from the Reed and Morgan families bullied my daughter – there needs to be an
explanation.”
Following him into the auction house three floors underground, I discovered there was a whole
other world here. “Dad, this is yours?“!
He hummed in acknowledgment, then smiled at me. “What do you mean mine? It’ll all be yours in
the future.”
I curiously touched the golden pillars, calculating in my mind how much these might be worth.
Forgive me for being such a money–loving little girl.
Before I could finish marveling, the auction hall doors opened.
Leo’s face was swollen like a balloon, but he still got the staff to chant my name. “Welcome home,
Miss Moon.”
I smiled slightly, waved, and walked into the venue.
At that moment, everyone’s eyes lingered on me, the most piercing being those of Liam and Alex.
Looking their way, I found both of them in terrible shape, their clothes wrinkled and disheveled.
Nothing like their polished appearance in front of me before.

“Miss Moon, please.” Leo bent over and escorted me to the center seat.
Along the way, many big bosses I’d only seen in the news kept trying to curry favor with me.
“Miss Moon, we know we were wrong. Please ask Mr. Moon to spare us.‘
“Miss Moon, I didn’t participate in your auction–didn’t even raise my paddle. Please be merciful and let me go home to see my son.”
Seeing my confusion, Leo spoke up, “Miss Moon, after you fell unconscious, Mr. Moon was furious and sealed all exits to the auction house. However long you stayed in the hospital, these people have been in the venue. But don’t worry, we’ve been feeding them well–except for those two.”
Following Leo’s finger, Liam and Alex were clearly visible.
No wonder they looked so listless–they hadn’t eaten in three days.
I glanced coldly at the two and sat ladylike in my seat.
As soon as I sat down, the sound of a gavel came from the auction stage.
Soon, Alex was thrown onto the platform.
The staff flipped through the auction catalog, introducing her carelessly to everyone, “The only item in today’s auction–a foreign freak.”
I burst out laughing. She wasn’t wrong.
Alex claiming to be transgender with some foreign assessment report was indeed ridiculous.
“This lady has a foreign assessment report proving she’s biologically female but psychologically male. I’m sure many people would be interested, right? Whether you buy her back for experiments or as a maid, it would be quite… unique.”
Brilliant.
I clapped and gave my father a thumbs up.
Alex struggled on stage, and I waved for someone to remove the tape from her mouth.
I was curious to hear what nonsense she could spout.
She shouted, “I’m not voluntary! You can’t auction me! This is illegal! I’m calling the police!”

Hearing this, my father smiled and stood up, looking around until he saw everyone’s averted gazes
before smiling with satisfaction.
“Here, I am the law. I am heaven.”
