Her boss gave his permission so she can take an indefinite leave but there are some conditions that she needs to settle. That is why she came here to my house to tell me all about it.
Her boss also visited her mother yesterday but we never had a chance to meet because I left the hospital early because of Millie.

I sighed and turned to Millie.
I already said yes, there is no turning back now.
“I will leave you to Luca tomorrow, okay? Mikea will just pick you up when she goes home.”
Mikea only goes and stays at the hospital in the morning and it was her father who accompanied her mother at night so she can just go straight to my house with Millie and wait for me there.
