“So, you need some information about Lancelot,” Castiel said while she was searching for something in her things. “I didn’t know that Enver became that greedy. He knows how strict the process is to become one of the dealers who wants to sell Anox’s Car.”
“That is also what I know,” I said. “And I don’t know how he managed to get a personal meeting appointment with the owner of the Anox.”
“I think Dashiel helped him with that.”
I frowned. “Dashiel? Are you talking about Dashiel the Playboy?”
She nodded. “When Enver cast aside all of his family’s company and decided to start his own, Dashiel was the only friend that stayed by his side and supported him,” she explained. “He even invested in his company to make sure that it could stand on its own even though his father tried to intercept its growth.”
“Really?”
She nodded again. “So, you could say that even though Dash is a playboy and a happy–go–lucky bastard, he is still the best friend that Enver could ever ask for.”
“Ahm…” I scratched my head. “What happened to him?” I shyly asked.
Ever since I left Enver’s life, I tried my best not to ask anything about him because what I have in my mind before is that, it could help me move on from him completely.
Besides, I always think that when I left, he became happy together with his family and the woman that they like for him.
“You are curious now, huh.” She stopped searching and looked at me.
“Yeah,” I answered. “When I left, his relationship with his family was good and he was still managing all the company that was owned by his father. So, I don’t understand why he abandoned all of that and chose the hard way of starting Raiden?”
She stared at me and it is like there is some meaning to the looks that she is giving me. But after a while, she just sighed. “I am sorry, Milan. But it is not my story to tell.”
I frowned. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t know everything that happened to him,” she said. All I know is that he threw everything he had and started Raiden three months after you left him.”
I am aware that Enver is a very big fan of cars, most of then are sports cars. But he was too busy with his work at his father’s company which is why he never had a chance to enjoy the luxury that he had.
When we are still together, we often talked about his dream of building a car company and he will make sure that it will become successful in the whole country.
But as I said, he never had that chance when he was still win his family because his priorities are their family business.
But now,
he manages to do it. And that is when I am no longer with him.
I held my chest as I felt slight pain but I immediately shook my head to clear all the unnecessary things that came
to mind.
He cheated on me and that is why I left him.

“So?‘ Castiel gave me some folders. “That was the information that we had about Lancelot Neon. He is a private person and his partner is controlling all personal information that will be published about him.”
“Eh?” I took that and read it. “Why are they selfish about it?”
“Neon faced a grave danger not long ago and since then, they started to lessen the information that will get out about him and the Anox.”
I placed the folder on the table and went to her. “But is it true?” I tried my best to lower my voice. “Mister Neon’s partner is also a man?”
Castiel is the owner of a company that published a magazine that has a lot of interviews with high–profile personalities. They mostly featured celebrities at first but now that even the people who hold higher positions in the most successful businesses around the country are also getting the attention of the public, they also started interviewing them.
She didn’t think twice and just nodded. “Are you not watching the news or at least reading some of my magazines?”
I shook my head. “I don’t have the chance to watch some news because Millie is the owner of my television.”
Millie always watched television and put it only on a network that showed cartoons and whenever I tried to change the channel, she would start having tantrums so I never meddle with the television anymore.
“And I never leave our subdivision so I never had a chance to buy your magazines,” I added. Luca, my helper, is the one who buys everything we need at the market.
That is why I don’t know anything about what is happening to the people I once knew who belong to the high place of society and hold a high positions in their company.
“I am already here so just feed me with some gossip,” I said.
“I already said yes,” she said. “They are both men but they love each other. And Lancelot Neon is never ashamed of telling everyone about their relationship in one of his conferences when someone spreads some fake news that he is the boyfriend of a famous sexy star.”
“But he never revealed his partner’s identity, right?”
She nodded. “He is proud about his relationship with him but he is also protecting him, so he never mentioned any name to identify his partner.”
“Oh.” I nodded and turned my eyes to the folders that she gave to me where her interviews with Lancelot Neon were compiled.
This is still not enough to think about something that will press Anox and make it permission to sell its cars on
Raiden.
“Anyway, since you’re already out and Enver has already sen you, why don’t you start enjoying your life?” She handed me a business card. “Your cafeteria needs some change in the menu so why don’t you try and eat at that place? I am sure you will learn many things there.”
I took the card and saw that it was just blocks away.
“I have a reservation there and you can use it since I don’t think I can come down to eat somewhere.” She pointed at the mountain of folders that were placed at the top of her table. “Just take out some for me, okay?”

I felt a little hungry so I just decided to take her offer.
I bid her goodbye and went to the restaurant where she pointed at me.
And I was amazed when I saw the store.
“Good afternoon, Ma’am,” one of the waitresses greeted me as I entered the store. “Do you have a reservation?”
I nodded and took the confirmation message that Castiel sent to me.
“Please follow me.” She led me to the table near the windows but away from the other customers,
as per the request for the reservation that Castiel took. “Please take your time picking your order and just tap your order on the tablet.” She pointed to me on the electronic tablet where their menu was listed.
She helped me use it as I told her that this is my first time visiting this store and all I have to do is tap the picture of the food that I want to order and they will serve it to me in just a couple of minutes.
And while waiting for my food, I started to look at it online and saw very good reviews regarding everything.
It has a great ambiance which is why most of the people who dine here love to take photos and post them on every social media they have.
The food here is also delicious and affordable which is why everyone, even the people in the lower class can eat here once in a while.
Their service is also good. Every employee was greeting us with a genuine smile and they never forced their kindness when they were serving us.
But something bothered me as I stared at the food that was listed on the menu. It is kind of familiar to me but I don’t know where I first saw it.
“M–Milan?”
I turned my eyes to the person who just called my name and I was shocked to see who it was.
“It is you, Milan!”
