While enjoying the dessert with Dashiel, I decided to order he foods that I will be taking out for Castiel.
I am sure that she was just eating a light snack because she doesn’t have time to buy her food since she has a lot of things to do.
“You are still not full?” Dashiel asked after I placed some orders again. “You already eat a lot here.”
I laughed. “That is not for me,” I said. “It is for Cas. She is the one who pointed this restaurant to me and she gave me the reservation that she has here since she can’t use it herself.”
“Oh.” He nodded while staring at me. And that made me frown.
The looks that he is giving me feel like it has some meaning. As if he realized something because of what I just said.
“Dash?” I called him. “Is there something in my face?”
He smiled and shook his head. “Nah. I just realized the real accomplice of fate.”
It made me even more confused. “What do you mean?”
He shocked his head again. “Nothing. I was just talking to myself.”
“O–okay.” He has been weird since then so I am not surprised if he is acting like this. “Anyway, I will just go to the comfort room, then I will pay for our meal.” I stood up and pointed at him. “Don’t leave yet, okay? At least give me a ride to Castiel’s building since I know that it is on your way back to your work.”
I know that he always brings his car and since I am sure that I won’t be able to take a taxi around here, I might as well take advantage of this meeting.
I went inside the comfort room. I was only washing my hands and doing some retouching in my makeup since the day is still long.
I still haven’t done anything progressive for the job that Enter gave to me that can help us prepare the draft for the proposal needed in his meeting together with Lancelot Neon.
But wait…
I was stunned when I thought of something.
From what I remember, restaurants are his main business but why did he think of dining here? He is not the type of person who will think of spying on the store of the business competitors.
He didn’t need that because his restaurant is already famous and got a lot of good reviews. It also became one of the main attractions in the city because it serves different cuisines that the tourists enjoy.
And come to think of it, the waitress that served our food earlier called him ‘Sir Dashiel‘, It only means that the employees here knew him.
My eyes widened as I finally realized what was bothering and immediately went out of the comfort room.
And I saw Dashiel was already at the counter, having a nice hat with the employees. “Dashiel Ainsworth!”
He looked at me and smiled as I came to him. “You are already here.”
I glared at him but it seems like he didn’t mind that. “You are so mean, you know.”
He laughed. “So, you finally realized?”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you are the owner of this restaurant?” I threw a tissue at him but he immediately avoided that. “I even offer to treat you to lunch yet you will not even let me pay for all those foods.”
When I was still together with Enver, he never really let me pay whenever I eat at his restaurants even though I am the only one who ate there. And even though I insisted and tried to leave my card or cash, he just gave it back to
Enver.
“Well, I was actually thinking of letting you pay,” he said and that made me feel a little bit relieved since I don’t have a chance to treat him. Just for paying for all the nice things he did for me before. “But I had a great time seeing you again, so, no thanks.”
My shoulder dropped after hearing that and just rolled my eyes at him. He is just teasing me.
And even though I still keep insisting, he will not accept any payment from me. He will even get mad at his employees if I talk to them in secret and might get fired because of me so I didn’t even try to do that.
“Anyway, do you still have time after this?” he asked.
I nodded. “I still haven’t figured out how to get more information about Anox, so I decided to use this day to have some fun since I have been imprisoned inside the subdivision for five years.” I looked at him. “Why did you ask?”
“Do you want to come with me to Arch Fend?”
My eyes widened and immediately nodded. “Yes, please!”
He laughed at me even more. “I guess that part of you will never really change.”
“Ah.” I took out my cell phone. “I might as well take Enver since there are cars there that are definitely manufactured by Anox. We might find some useful things for our proposal.”
Art already gave Enver’s number earlier and I decided to save it in my phone book.
Well, I won’t be able to avoid that man and we will be working together with each other so might as well have his contact number.
As I said to him, I will be doing my job professionally.
We left the store right after I got my take–out food. And as usual to Dashiel, he keeps teasing me on how long it takes for me to realize that he owns the place even though am aware that he loves car racing.
We didn’t stay long at Castiel’s office since she is really busy nowadays. I just dropped her food and told her that we will be going to Arch Fend and left.
Arch Fend is a famous car racing facility in the whole county. It is always busy because this is always the venue where car manufacturers show off their new products.
They do test runs here and they always include their sportsar in a racing competition to show their product’s capability.
And most of the famous car racers are staying there.
And as far as I know, some racers there are also using sport cars that were manufactured by Anox. And they have booths there where they present their latest product, as well as their future products.
“What the hell?” Enver was frowning when he saw me together with Dashiel. “Why are you both together?”
“Chill, dude.” Dashiel put his arms around Enver’s shoulder and looked at me signaling that I should be the one who explained why we are together.
“We accidentally met at one of his restaurants near Castiel office,” I said. “And we had a little chat about each

other. Then, he decided to invite me here.”
He pointed at himself. “And why did you tell me to come here?”

“For a car dealer like you, it is right to know the latest product that you are going to sell, right?” I said. “Anox placed a booth here so I thought that we could start there to find something that will help us impress Lancelot Neon.”
He stared at me as if he wanted to say something but he didn’t do it and just turned his head to Dashiel. “Did you plan this?”
Dashiel immediately shook his head. “Like what she said, we only met by accident. And you are aware that I always set this date in my calendar whenever I visited that branch, right?” he explained. “And when we are about to leave, I thought that maybe I could invite her here since she never had a chance to stay out where she lives just to hide from you.”
Cars are one thing that Mikea and I got along with. And I got that kind of interest with Ferry who also likes this kind of thing because there are times that she, herself, joins some racing events here.
And this is also the reason why Enver and I got close.
“Stop arguing there,” I pulled them away from each other and held their hand. Then, I started dragging them toward the entrance of the place. “A racing event is happening right now inside this place and it was sponsored by Anox because they are going to show off their three newest products. We have to see it!”
I didn’t give them a chance to resist and run while dragging them with me.
