“Dash!” I grabbed Dashiel’s hand and pull him toward the car booth not too far from where we are. And I smiled when I saw the Anox emblem in its tent. “Let’s go there!” didn’t bother to grab and pull Enver because he ist already following us.
And to be honest, I miss the feeling of being in this kind of place.
When I was still with Enver, we often held our dates in car racing events, just like this since it is one of the things that we surely get along with.
There are times we had before when Dashiel and Ferry love to join the race using their own sports car and Castiel took a photo of us to restore the memories we had with each other.
And now that I realized that, everything change between us when Enver decided to stop going out of town. He stayed here and handled their family business that was only stationed here.

And to make sure that I will not leave any information, she old Enver and Dashiel not to follow us, so they just waited outside the tent.
“Oh.” She nodded. “I was only busy for three days, yet fate as already managed to sneak behind my back and did something to make the two of you meet again.”

I averted my eyes away from her. Well, I can’t hide anything from this woman because she knows me well.
“You still love him?”
I don’t want to admit it but even if I lie in front of this woman, she will immediately know so I just nodded.
“Then, does it mean you want-”
I looked at her again and shook my head. “It is not because love him, I will still want to get back with him,” I said. “Yes, I still love him. That is what I confirmed when I met him again. And yes, I still want him to be part of my life, but not as my husband. I can settle for being friends with him because I know that time will come, I will need to introduce him to Millie.”
“Then, you are not going to hide anymore?” she asked. “Even after the three months of being his secretary?”
I shook my head. “I will not hide anymore.”
I think hiding will not do any good anymore to me. And as I realized earlier, Enver and I were not the only people that got affected by what we did in our lives.
Even our friends.
And we put them in an uncomfortable situation because I choose to become a coward, rather than face Enver and tell him that I don’t want to be with him anymore.
I choose to run from the problem and that made my friends suffer too.
Though I am sure that I wouldn’t be able to do that because immediately forgive Enver if I confront him and he just says

She let go of the hug and looked at me again. “So, let’s skip this drama,” she said. “What I want to know is why did you agree on going here with Dashiel when he invited you. You could just call me if you wanted to go here.”

I shook my head. “I called Castiel.”
She stopped and for a second, she looked pissed. But she breathe deeply and immediately calmed herself. “Damn that woman.”
I am confused. As far as I know, Castiel and her rarely fight. But it looks to me right now that they have something they didn’t agree on.
Did Castiel do something that Ferry didn’t like?
“Never mind that,” she said. “I got the gist of what is happening. Anyway, you went here to have some fun but you learned that Anox has a booth here and you want to study their new products?”
I nodded. “I need more knowledge about Anox’s product since the job that I will be doing as Enver’s secretary is about the impression of its owner so Raiden will get to sell their products.”
“Then, why don’t you just face the one who organized this event?” She held my hand and pulled me outside the tent. And we walked towards the big tent that has Anox’s emblem. “Here.”
My eyes widened when I saw that most of the people here are the higher executives of Anox and they are all busy assessing a new car that was displayed in the middle. “T–the whole Anox…”
“They are not the ones that you should meet.” She pulled me far inside the tent and when we finally reach the table that was set here, we stopped in front of two men who immediately notice us.
My eyes widened when I saw a familiar face. “La–Lancelot Neon!”
He slowly turned his eyes to me and slightly bowed his head as a sign of greeting. Then, he turned to Ferry. “Is she your friend, Ferry?”
“Yeah,” Ferry said. “She was actually here to find something that may impress you but it looks like she was the one who got impressed by personally meeting you.”
“Oh my god!” I exclaimed. “You are Lancelot Neon of Anox!” And I don’t know what happened to me but I immediately resist Ferry’s grip and hugged Lancelot.
And that shocked everyone in the tent.
