We are currently at the restaurant just outside the Arch Fend and Adze chose to reserve the whole place to make sure that no one will get inside as long as we are here.
Two years ago, Lancelot’s life was put at risk because of one thing that he created. And there are a lot of people who went after it to the point that they are willing to kill him just to get it.
And those people hired a lot of assassins just to make sure that he will be gone by the time they get that thing.
That is why he has a lot of bodyguards surrounding him whenever he goes to crowded places like this one.
And I understand why they are so cautious with the people that they faced.
“So?” Adze raised his eyebrows and pointed at Milan. Then he looked at Ferry. “This woman is your friend.”
Dashiel and Ferry immediately nodded as we all can see that Adze is not happy with what Milan had done earlier.
“And she admires Lance because of the cars that he created” he confirmed and Ferry nodded again. “And she is not interested in him? She just hugged him because she has been her idol ever since she was in college?”
This time, the four of us nodded to respond.
“And how can I make sure of that?” Adze turned to Milan. The way she hugged him earlier…”
“She is not interested in him as a man,” Ferry said and put her arms around Milan’s shoulder. “And even though Lancelot is too hot and handsome, she will never be interested in him romantically.”
“Really?”
I was staring at Milan and Ferry as I heard those words. I am also curious why Ferry was so sure that Milan will never be interested in him even though she admired him for a long time ago.
Our marriage is still valid because I never signed the divorce documents but she didn’t know that. She thought that she is no longer my wife so I am not surprised if she has been interested in other guys for the past five years.
Ferry was about to say something but she noticed my gaze on her and a smirk formed on her lips that made me frown.
And she just whispered to Adze the words that I also wanted to hear.

And I think whatever she told Adze worked because I can see that he is no longer mad and he has started to calm
himself.
“You are mean, Ferry,” Dashiel exclaimed. “We are also curious about that. We are not even strangers to you so you should just tell everyone.”
“It has nothing to do with you, idiot!” Ferry hissed.
And we just sighed as they started arguing again. Well, were used to what they are doing so we just let them do what they want.
“Now that the misunderstanding was already resolved, can we start being serious?” Adze said and pointed at me this time. “Do you really want to see Anox’s car?”

Most people believe that the value of a car is easily dropped in the market because it needs continued maintenance to ensure that it will keep running for a very long time.
But the cars that were created at Anox were never dropped in value. Its value kept rising because of the materials that it used in every part of it.
“Ahm…” Milan raised her hand to get our attention. “I know that this is not a formal meeting that you set up, and I still haven’t done the drafting of the proposal that we are going to present to you, but I want to make a deal.”
We are all confused by what she said.
And I was about to stop her but she just put her hand in my arms, as if telling me that I need to leave it to her.
I don’t know her plan but I can see the determination in her eyes while looking straight at Lancelot and Adze.
“We only have limited information about Anox and Mister Neon and I know that it is not enough to do something that may impress all of you,” she admitted. “So, instead of doing it in a normal way, I will choose to risk everything and make a deal with you.”
“Oh?” Adze smirked. “I like your guts.”

“What deal are you going to make with us?” Lancelot asked And from the looks of it, he is also interested in what Milan is going to say.
“Give us three months,” Milan said. “In those three months, you will supply us with your high–end cars and we will be able to sell them.”
Adze laughed as he heard that. “Are you an idiot? Selling Anox’s car is too easy for you to make a deal with. So you will-”
“Yes,” Milan cut him off. “If you offer it to the people that were part of the higher class family, they will surely not think twice and just buy it, especially if it is from Raider,” she said. “But what I am trying to say is we will sell these cars to the people that were part of the lower and middle–class family.”
Our eyes widened as we heard what she said.
“That was a huge gamble, Milan!” Ferry exclaimed. “You een choose those high–end cars. Do you think that a middle–class person will risk their money to buy things the are not a necessity in their daily life?”
“I know that, Ferry.” Milan sighed and looked at me. “But now Raiden can do such things.” And she looked at Lancelot and Adze again. “We will market your cars to middle–class people because I believe that everyone who loves cars should enjoy the feeling of having one. And I have the capability of handling such a deal.”
Milan does not come from a rich family. Their family is just part of the middle class. Her parents are just regular employees in a not–so–big company. And when they died and left her alone, they can only leave her enough

money for her to continue her college and their house.
That is why when Milan became interested in cars, she can only enjoy them by watching and admiring them from
afar.
She only got to buy her car when she started working but she can’t afford to buy Anox’s car that she always dreamed of.
“And how do you plan to do that?” Lancelot asked as he listened well to every Milan’s word. “How can you make sure that those people will buy Anox’s high–end cars without losing any profit for the company?”
I know Milan’s ability. I have seen her handling things from the previous work she had when we are still together. And I always wished that I had a secretary like her because she gives her best to come up with the best possible solution that will favor everyone.
“I have an idea but I still need to gather information so I am not sure if I can present that to you now,” Milan said and she stood up. “Give me three days and I will give you all the information that Raiden will do to make this deal.” She bowed her head.
And I also stood up and bowed my head since I am her boss. And even though I don’t know what her plan is, I trust her with everything I have.
Well, that is basically the first reason why I agreed on making her my temporary secretary.
