Most of them are not agreed with what is happening. They are already thinking that Raiden will lose in this deal even though they haven’t heard the report from the strategic department.
And they lost their trust in this deal when they learned that it was my idea and I was the one who prepared the proposal.
Some say that I took a reckless move and I didn’t even try to consult the department head of the company. And others are questioning my credibility as Enver’s secretary to make a such move even because they don’t know me and I didn’t do the normal process to become an employee of the company.
To be honest, I am getting irritated with what they are saying but I choose not to confront them because it will not help us in this situation.
Adze and Lancelot believed that we would be able to pull this through. They trust my words even though they know that it is a huge risk for both companies.
And Enver… He never contradicts everything I did. In fact, he support every move that I made.
Well, he only showed his disagreement with one of Anox’s conditions, but other than that, he agreed on everything.
And that is enough for me to continue this plan.

“Settle down, people,” Enver said as soon as he arrived at the meeting room.

I can see that even though there are a lot of things that were put at so much risk in Raiden, Enver is still ready to continue this fight.
He still has the chance to back out from the deal. Adze stated in the contract that we still have one week to decide whether we wanted to continue the deal or not.
And if we choose to back out, there will be no consequence waiting for us.
And maybe it is one of their consideration because we are fiends with their friends.
But the determination in Enver’s eyes is enough to answer for me what is he going to do.
“Let’s just support Boss with everything we can,” Art said. Especially you, since it was your idea that we are going to use.”
I smiled and nodded. “That’s the plan.”
And I can do that. In just three months, I can be a supportive secretary to him even though my heart keeps beating

“All the executives and investors agreed on this plan so please stop complaining and do your job,” Enver said which made everyone stop whispering. “In fact, like Lancelot Neon’s reaction, they are happy to know that we are launching a new method so people will be able to afford the cars that we are going to sell. “Is that true?” I whispered to Art who immediately nodded in his response.
“Some of the executives and investors of Raiden came from the poor family and they are the one who was happy with your idea,” he said. “And I think just like you, they also want people like them before to enjoy the feeling of obtaining the cars that they dreamed to have.”
I turned my eyes to Enver.
Before, most of his friends doesn’t care about the people around them. Some of them are too entitled to the status that they gain through their parents‘ hard work and always treat me badly, especially when I am not with Enver.
Those are also the people that urged Enver to drink every night when he finally stayed in our house for good. They are always inviting him to bar and drunk to their heart’s content that is why I never really like them.
Dashiel is the only one that I can talk to and nice to me because he is always taking care of Enver when he was too drunk to drive and walk.

Now, I realize that his parents were right about what they are saying before. I am the one reason why Enver doesn’t learn how to manage their company right.
That I am only holding him back from all the opportunities that they are giving him. That I am the only reason why he remains weak and never able to grow.
They are right about me not being the woman who deserves to stay beside him.
