Chapter 101
Elijah Vaughn.
Dante had told me he’d never gone down on anyone.
Every fiber of my being burned with an uncontrollable rage.
Their words echoed like hammers in my head.
Was I really not special?
Fox shot me a worried look, but I ignored him.
Indignation became gasoline on the fire inside me.
I walked past both of them without sparing a glance, but the way they froze when they saw me made it clear they knew I’d heard.
I didn’t stop.
I didn’t hesitate.
I headed straight for the cafeteria, where Dante was talking to Tony.
The instant he saw me, he smiled… But that smile vanished as soon as he saw the look on my face.
He stood up immediately, walking toward me.
“Elijah…”
I didn’t let him finish.
“How could you do this to me!?”
My voice came out laced with fury, a raw growl that echoed through the room.
He didn’t back down, but his eyes darkened. The air between us grew heavy.
“Let’s talk in the cell.” The command was low but firm.
I didn’t argue.
I turned and marched toward the cell block, my quick steps echoing down the corridors.
The rage burned, consuming me from the inside out.
As soon as we entered, I spun to face him, my chest rising and falling unevenly.

Chapter 101
“You’re a fucking bastard, Dante!”
His gaze didn’t waver.
“Treating me like I was the only one, when in reality, you’ve done the same with everyone!”
The words came out sharp, poisoned by pain.
“You said you’d never gone down on anyone… But that was just another lie!”
His expression remained impassive.
“And who told you that?”
His voice was low and gravelly, carrying a warning, but my fury wouldn’t let me see it.
“So now I’m supposed to believe you over them?”
I laughed bitterly.
“Honestly, it’s not hard! You’ve fucked half this prison! You fuck everyone the same way you fuck me!”
The silence that followed was suffocating.
Then, he laughed.
But there was no humor in it.
The sound was dry.
Cold.
“I fuck them the same way I fuck you?”
The laughter died, replaced by something far worse.
His eyes turned into dark slits, his gaze pinning me like a predator sizing up its prey.
He took a step forward, his presence consuming every inch of space in the cell.
“You want to see how I used to fuck them, Elijah?”
Before I could react, my body was/shoved hard onto the bed.
“Stop, Dante! I don’t want to do this now!”
I tried to get up, but his hand clamped down on the back of my neck, forcing me against the mattress.

Fear spread through me, a cold shiver racing down my spine.
The sound of my uniform tearing ripped through the air.
My chest tightened.
“I’m showing you,” his voice came out cold, detached. “How I fucked the others before you.”
I thrashed, trying to break free, but he didn’t budge. His grip on my head tightened, holding me down.
“Since you’re so desperate to know… I’ll show you.”
He pulled his hand away for a second.
I glanced over my shoulder just in time to see him lowering his uniform to his knees.
My heart raced.
“Dante, stop!”
I tried to crawl away, but he dragged me back.
The tension in the cell was crushing.
The weight of him on top of me, the heat of his breath, the way he pinned me down…
There was no trace left of the man who used to hold me at night.
Only the Reaper.
Only the cruel shadow of who he used to be.
“This is who I was, Elijah.”
His dragged–out voice held something dark, a veiled warning, a suffocating weight that settled on my
chest.
Air is stuck in my throat.
The press of his cock, hard and insistent against my entrance.
Shock froze me in place.
Suddenly, everything made sense.
Dante never treated the others like he treated me.
The man who looked at me with adoration, kissed my skin with devotion, and whispered promises in my

ear he never existed for them.
For the others, he was a predator.
There was no patience.
No affection.
No love.
Brutality was all he gave.
And now… he wanted me to see it.
Wanted me to understand.
“I’m sorry… Dante, please!”
The plea slipped out between sobs, my body trembling with desperation.
“I was wrong!”
The silence between us became a minefield.
With each passing second, the terror grew.
“Don’t do this to me…”
The pressure vanished.
The world snapped back into focus.
His breathing, until then ragged, came loud against the walls.
Fear was replaced by something else.
Something that burned even worse.
I turned slowly, my eyes locking onto his.
There was no coldness.
Something worse lived there..
Anger.
Hurt.

Pain.
A depth of emotion I’d never seen him show so openly.
He stepped back.
Muscles tight, chest heaving in uneven rhythm, fists clenched so hard the knuckles turned white.
His stare cut through me, slicing every layer of my skin.
He adjusted his uniform and walked toward the exit without saying a word..
Each step he took echoed like a punch straight to my gut.
Before disappearing down the hallway, he cast one final look over his shoulder.
“This is what happens when you listen to everyone but me.”
The cell door slammed shut.
The sound reverberated through my chest, crushing every remaining piece of my conscience.
The weight of the silence became unbearable.
The tears fell again.
But it wasn’t fear.
It wasn’t anger.
It was regret.
What had I done?
All Dante ever wanted was for me to trust him.
And I…
I chose to believe the people trying to tear us apart.
My chest tightened, an overwhelming weight sinking deep into my soul.
The emptiness spread like poison/
The cell had never felt so cold.
Never so suffocating.
