Chapter 135
Dante Castelli.
Once we dried off, I opened the bag and handed him some clothes, Elijah’s eyes widened when he realized they were real clothes “not the damned prison uniforms,
Without hesitation, he dressed quickly.
A fitted white cotton shirt hugged his slender frame, and dark jeans clung to his legs. It was simple, but he looked stunning.
1 dressed in a plain black t–shirt, dark jeans, and boots, leaving my hair loose over my shoulders.
When I looked at myself in the mirror, I barely recognized the man staring back,
I looked like someone ready for a fresh start.
Fingers intertwined, we walked in sync down the corridor toward the cafeteria.
The silence between us was comforting.
As soon as we entered, Elijah spotted Fox, already in civilian clothes. His eyes sparkled as he rushed over and threw his arms around him.
“We’re going to be free!” he exclaimed, voice thick with excitement.
Fox laughed, light and genuine.
“Yes! Finally away from this hell.”
I stood watching them chat animatedly, their happiness filling the room with a contagious warmth. Tony walked over and stopped by my side.
“Tony, what do you plan to do now?” I asked, my eyes still on my bunny.
He hesitated for a moment before answering in a steady voice, “I want to be with Fox. I want to give him the life he deserves. Show him the world… that there’s still beauty beyond these bars.”
I nodded slowly.
“So that means you don’t want to be my right hand anymore?”
He looked uneasy, his hesitation clear..
I smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry about that. Live for the one you love. Enjoy every moment. That’s what I’ll be doing with my bunny.”
Relief crossed his face, and he nodded in agreement as we moved to the table.
Our trays were already waiting, a sign that Fox and Elijah had taken care of things.
We started eating, and I kept my gaze on Elijah and Fox as they chatted excitedly about their dreams the places they wanted to visit, the foods they wanted to taste.
Their joy was undeniable.
A guard approached us.
“Sir. They’ve arrived.”
I smiled, a shiver running through me. I turned to the others.
“Shall we?”
Elijah gripped my hand tightly. He was trembling.
Fox did the same with Tony.
We stood in silence, our steps slow but certain, filled with anticipation and relief.
I held my bunny’s hand firmly.
We were just about to leave the cafeteria when a desperate voice rang through the room.
“Elijah… please! Take me with you!”
We turned around.
David was stumbling toward us, his steps unsteady, his body bruised and battered.
He was crying.
And then he fell to his knees before his brother.
“Please… I’m begging you. Get me out of here. I can’t take it anymore… please…”
Elijah stared at him with a calm yet firm gaze.
Without hesitation.

Chapter 135
“Were you sorry for me when I begged for help? When I pleaded for someone to believe me?”
He took a deep breath,
‘David, I never wanted this to happen to you. But it was your choice, You destroyed me, and now you have to face the consequences.”
He turned to me.
“Shall we, love?”
I smiled, proud.
“Of course, my love.”
We kept walking, leaving behind the desperate cries. David continued calling out for us, but Elijah never looked back. Fox placed a hand on my bunny’s shoulder and smiled.
“That was badass.”
We moved toward the main gate.
The hallway felt longer than ever, but each step brought us closer to freedom.
Soon, the large iron gates came into view,
Elijah squeezed my hand tighter.
The warden was already waiting for us, visibly tense.
He gave a subtle signal, and the guards opened the gates. A rush of sea breeze hit us, carrying the salty scent of the ocean.
I glanced at the warden, who quickly looked away when he caught my expression.
I turned to the others.
“Let’s go.”
We stepped out of the prison.
As the boat came into view, my heart raced.
One of my men approached, his expression relieved.
“Welcome back, boss. It’s good to see you free.”

I nodded with a faint smile.
“I’m glad to be back. Let’s get out of here before the FBI turns their attention back this way.”
