Chapter 194
“Well, look at that…” He chews on each word like poison. “You don’t
command anyone here anymore. You turned into the new guy’s little
bitch–we don’t owe you any explanations. But since I’m generous,
I’ll tell you: Darius is dead. Guard David blew his head off with a
shot.”
The ground vanishes beneath my feet. Darius… dead?
Laughter spreads around me, echoing like a knife driven deep into my
chest. Rage rises, liquid and sharp, and my hand closes on the collar
of the bastard who spoke.
“I may have lost to that asshole,” I say quietly, every word dripping
with venom. “But don’t forget what I’m still capable of.”
Fear flashes across his face, and that gives me enough satisfaction to
let him go. I turn away and start to walk off when I hear the low
provocation, spat like acid:
“You must be enjoying yourself now… I bet the new guy’s dick is
good, since you let him wreck your whole body.”
The others laugh. I hear Navarro’s group roaring with amusement. A

crushing pressure clamps down on my chest–pure humiliation–and
the world spins around me. I’m small, insignificant, and trapped in
that circus of contempt.
Rage devours me from the inside. Without thinking, I move toward
Adrian, who’s leaning against the cafeteria door talking to David.
When he sees me, he smiles–and that lights my fury like gunpowder.
In a blind impulse, I raise my fist and punch him in the face. His head snaps to the side; the impact explodes up my arm like I hit solid rock.
David draws his weapon instantly, aiming it at me, but I barely
register whether he’s going to pull the trigger.
“You bastard! You ruined my life!” I scream, my voice ripping through
the air.
Adrian stares at me calmly; his eyes turn cold as steel, and that’s
when I realize the mistake I’ve made. It all happened so fast. A blow hits my stomach, a punch that steals my breath and almost makes me
vomit everything I’ve eaten.
Before I collapse, he grabs me by the uniform and drags me without ceremony, making me stumble. The pain in my stomach burns; when we reach the cell, he unlocks the bars and shoves me in. I trip and fall onto the cold floor, feeling every piece of my rage turn to dust.

“Take off your clothes.” His voice sinks into a tone so dark that
shivers run through my entire body.
With an effort, I manage to pull myself up, my hand pressing against
my aching stomach. He tilts his head to the side, his face impestive-
cold to the point of being terrifying
“Don’t make me repeat myself, Magnus. My name, spat by him,
sounds harsh, cutting.
I swallow my pride. I know that if I don’t obey, the situation will only get worse. Slowly, I remove the uniform, piece by piece, until I am completely exposed before him. He walks to the bed and sits down,
looking up at me. His gaze is so icy it seems to carry an endless
darkness, as if there were no possible way out.
“Come here,” he orders, dryly,
I swallow my pride and approach. With a quick yank, I am thrown
over his knees, my body stretched out, vulnerable under his weight.
“What the he-” I begin, but the word is cut off by a sharp slap to my
buttocks that makes the sound echo in the room.
“Silence. You acted like a child in front of the others.” His low, cutting
voice turns every word into a blade. “So you will be treated as one.”

His gaze glints coldly, almost void of emotion.
