Just then, Matthias happened to lean over to speak to her and accidentally saw the message Trevor had sent.
He was startled. “Not divorce? What does he mean by that?”
Did this mean Trevor no longer wanted to divorce her?
“No.”
Celeste knew exactly what he was thinking and replied calmly, “It’s for Jo.”
“She knows about the divorce?”
“No…”
Celeste briefly explained the situation to him.
Matthias fell silent for a long moment. “And you? What do you think?”
The fact that Trevor was willing to delay the divorce for the sake of the child honestly surprised him.
From this, it was clear that Trevor truly cared about their daughter.
If Trevor could choose not to divorce her, at least for Jordyn’s sake, then she could do the same.

She hesitated for a moment before replying to Trevor’s message. “I’ll think about it.”
He replied quickly. “Okay.”
By noon, Celeste and Matthias received a message from Zachary, saying that Theodore wanted to invite them over for dinner at his place that evening and asked if they were free.
The last time Celeste had gone to the military base, she had helped Theodore with some matters.
Back then, he had said he wanted to treat her to a meal when he had the chance.
Celeste and Matthias quickly replied to Zachary.
After work, they left the Fleming Group and were about to head to the Robinson residence when they saw Trevor and Wynn downstairs. 1
Seeing them, Trevor greeted them. “Not staying for dinner before leaving?”
Matthias curled his lips, glanced lightly at Wynn, and replied with faint sarcasm, “No. We have other plans.”
Celeste said nothing. She didn’t look at Trevor or Wynn either, and left with Matthias after getting into the car.
It was Celeste’s first time visiting the Robinson residence.
After their car entered the courtyard, someone immediately came out to welcome them.
The person was none other than Jorge.

Jorge knew that Theodore had invited Harold and Zachary over for dinner that day.
Hearing the sound of a car, Theodore had asked him to come out and greet the guests. He thought it would only be Matthias. 1
But instead, it was Matthias… and Celeste.
She was here too.
The moment he saw Celeste, his gaze instantly turned cold.
Matthias noticed the change in his expression and crossed his arms with a half–smile. “What? Mr. Robinson, is this how you welcome guests?”
The coldness on Jorge’s face faded slightly. He replied flatly, “Mr. Yoder, you’re overthinking it.”
After that, he glanced at Celeste and said, “Please come in.” 1
Matthias curled his lips, ignored him, and walked inside with Celeste.
When Theodore saw Celeste, he stood up warmly. “Cel, Matt, you’re here! Come, sit down.”
Celeste and Matthias greeted him in unison, “Mr. Robinson.”
Theodore smiled and nodded.
Seeing Jorge standing nearby with pursed lips, clearly displeased, he said, “What are you standing there for? Hurry up and pour some tea for the guests.”
Jorge didn’t say anything and silently came over to pour tea for Celeste and Matthias.
But after the tea was ready, Theodore beat him to it and personally served Celeste. “Cel, have some tea. Thanks for the hard work last time.”
Jorge froze. Before he could react, he saw Celeste accept the teacup and say, “Mr. Robinson, you’re too kind. It was what I should have done.”
Theodore smiled. “Still, you did help me a great deal.”
