Jorge wondered how Celeste had helped his father.
What kind of help could Celeste possibly have given his father?
Theodore had never mentioned this to him, and Jorge couldn’t help asking, “What was it?”
Theodore curled his lips. “It has nothing to do with you.”
Just then, the sound of cars came from outside.
Apart from Helena Saunders, Theodore’s wife, who had just gotten home from work, Zachary and Harold had also arrived.
This was Celeste’s first time meeting Helena.
Celeste and Matthias stood up to greet her.
Although it was Helena’s first time seeing Celeste in person, she already knew quite a lot about her.
Smiling, she patted Celeste’s hand and said gently, “I’ve heard Teddy mention you before and wanted to meet you for some time. Today I finally get to see you in person. I didn’t expect you to be even more beautiful in real life than on television.”

Theodore had invited Celeste and the others to dinner not only to thank Celeste and Zachary for their help, but also to take this opportunity for everyone to spend some time together.
With so many of them gathered, it wasn’t appropriate to discuss too many classified matters related to the military base, but they could still talk about the current domestic and international political and business landscape.
Celeste frequently went to the base and naturally had a certain level of understanding of these topics.
