Lincoln smiled warmly and was the first to speak. “Cel is here too? It’s been a long time.”
Celeste nodded. Because Jordyn was present, she hesitated for a second before calling out softly, “Father.” (2)
Lincoln smiled and nodded. “There are so many people standing here, we’re blocking the way. Let’s go inside and talk.”
Celeste nodded. Just as she was hesitating, Jordyn grabbed her hand and pulled her forward. “Mom, let’s go.”
Once they reached the private room and took their seats, Lincoln continued, “Cel, I heard you’re doing quite well at YodaVision now. Congratulations.”
“Thank you,” Celeste replied.
As soon as she finished speaking, Trevor naturally sat down in the seat beside her.
Celeste slightly turned her head and pretended not to notice.
The Fleming family was actually quite curious about why Celeste had come today and what her current situation with Trevor was, but no one asked. (3)
Besides that, there had been plenty of rumors in their circle about Celeste and Matthias.
Since Lincoln knew she was now working at YodaVision, he must have heard something about the two of them as well.

She then asked, “Have you decided on your holiday schedule for this year?”
“It’s been decided, but after the break, I’ll still need to attend a few banquets. Even during the holidays, I won’t really be tree.”
As Celeste was talking to Martha, she reached out to pick up a piece of duck meat. Just as she did, Tucker, who wasn’t paying attention, took the dish.
Noticing that Celeste was about to take some food, he quickly apologized and was about to put it back when Trevor moved faster, picking up the meat and placing it into Celeste’s plate.
“Do you want more?” he asked.
Celeste froze.
Aside from Jordyn, everyone else looked over in unison.
When Trevor picked up another piece of meat, Celeste came back to herself and said calmly, “That’s enough. Thank you ”
Trevor didn’t say anything. He put the meat into his own plate instead.
Watching this, everyone felt that although the relationship between the couple seemed to have eased somewhat, it was still very
distant.
Throughout the meal, Lincoln and ‘Trevor talked quite a bit, while Celeste rarely joined the conversation.
