Mack had planned everything in advance. For now, he would keep Raven at the Cherry family’s place, then secretly contact the inspection Burrats have them come and arrest her while no one was paying attention.
Raven was a lowly pariah without even a legal identity in the country of Forreb. She dared to injure someone within its borders. Even if the court didn’t sentence her to death, she would either be imprisoned for life or deported directly.

He continued, “Our Cherry family has always been law–abiding citizens. We would never harbor a criminal and risk tarnishing our name. You’d best go to the Inspection Bureau and atone for your crimes. Are you the one who killed or injured someone?”
The head of the patrol officer walked toward Raven, holding an electric baton.
He said, “Be good and don’t try any tricks, or you’ll get a taste of pain. The law is the same for everyone in Forreb. Don’t think we’ll go easy on you just because you’re a woman!”
After that, he gestured to the patrol officers behind him to move in and apprehend her.
Each of these officers held an electric baton, but these weren’t ordinary batons from the lower realm. Each was charged with an extremely high voltage. If a normal person were shocked by one of these for more than five seconds, they could easily be permanently disabled.
Of course, with Raven’s strength, escaping from these people would be easy. She could even wipe them all out right there in the Cherry family household, but she had no intention of doing that, at least not for now.
Then, Mack said, “Enough, Raven. Stop your futile resistance.”
Mack narrowed his eyes. He thought Raven was still planning to fight back and warned her, “No matter how strong you are, you can’t escape the Inspection Bureau. Do you think you’ll be safe just because you slip away from the Cherry family’s place?”
He added, “Frihamen City has over a dozen Inspection Bureaus and tens of thousands of officers. Even if you had wings, you couldn’t fly out of this city. You might as well surrender now!”
Raven replied, “I’m not trying to run. I’ll go with you.”
Raven’s calm attitude caught the Cherry family father and son off guard. She didn’t cry or beg for mercy as they had expected, which left them feeling somewhat dissatisfied.
However, Mack quickly adjusted his expression and said sinisterly, “Still putting on an act even at death’s door? Officers, take her away. Interrogate her thoroughly. Don’t give her the slightest hope of escape.”
“Enough talk, let’s go!” The patrol leader reached out to push Raven, but his hand caught nothing. She had already started walking outside on her own.
“Damn it!” The patrol leader’s face turned grim as he cursed under his breath. “Let’s see how long that arrogance lasts once we’re back at the bureau!”
Not long after Raven was taken away by the inspectors, Cassian noticed her absence. He stormed into Mack’s room and demanded, “Where’s Raven? What did you do to her?”
Although he knew that with Raven’s strength, no one could harm her, his worry made him panic. He just wanted to know her whereabouts as soon as possible.
“You mean that lowborn girl? She was arrested by the Inspection Bureau for intentional murder. You’d best wake up to reality and forget about her,” M replied indifferently, looking at Cassian without concern.
He added, “Look at you, flustered over just one woman. You’ve come to our family now, so that means you belong to us.”
