Since the iron door of the confinement chamber had been destroyed, a shrill alarm started blaring throughout the area, Raven paused mid–step, frowning as she looked up at the alarm above her. As if finding the noise too irritating, she waved her hand, and the wailing device immediately shattered into pieces.

The young man couldn’t understand how an unremarkable–looking girl had suddenly become such a force of destruction.
The other patrol officers in the bureau had heard the commotion and rushed over with weapons in hand. When they arrived at the entrance, the sight of their dead colleagues and the scene of utter devastation stopped them cold. Without hesitation, they drew their weapons and charged forward.
But before they could take a step, a powerful wave of energy exploded from within the chamber again. The overwhelming force caused their bodies to spasm violently before they collapsed to the floor, blood seeping from their seven orifices.
Within moments, seven or eight twisted corpses littered the doorway.
Raven continued walking forward expressionlessly.
Just then, the head of the patrol squad rushed over after hearing the disturbance. He arrived just in time to meet Raven’s calm, emotionless gaze, and with that single glance, a buried memory of an ancient, terrifying figure resurfaced in his mind.
The woman was wearing an exquisite silver mask. It was a living nightmare he could never erase from his memory.
“Who… who are you?” the patrol leader stammered, his voice trembling. “Who the hell are you?”
Raven lifted her gaze slightly, her lips parting as she spoke in a calm yet chilling tone. “I’ve only been away from Forreb for a few short years, and yet you’ve already forgotten me?”
“You…” The patrol leader’s eyes widened in shock, nearly rolling back in his head as he staggered. Even the officers behind him stepped back in fear.
“You’re the leader of Cloudshadow Sect! You… you’re Lady Valor!”
While chaos reigned at the Inspection Bureau, the man who had been taken by Cloudshadow Sect was undergoing a relentless interrogation by several elders.
“Who sent you? Why did you try to harm our Lady Valor? You even slandered her by claiming she had no legitimate identity. Were you trying to sow discord?”
The man kept his head lowered, jaw clenched as he remained silent.
He was an undercover agent planted by the Larsson family within the lower realm. Though he fought with all his might to endure the interrogation of Cloudshadow Sect’s executives, his body trembled slightly at the sight of the torture devices in the room. His mind was torn between confessing and holding out.
Timothy slammed the table, his voice thunderous. “Speak now or I’ll have your hands and feet cut off!”
“I really don’t know what you’re talking about,” the man stammered, his voice desperate. “I’m just a regular person! I’ve never even seen Lady Valor. Why I would I try to harm her?”
He continued, “And besides, Cloudshadow Sect’s reputation precedes it: Everyone knows better than to provoke Lady Valor, I’m nothing but an ant in front of you. How would I possibly dare to act out against her?”

“You still dare deny it?” The executive snapped, “Raven is our leader! Are you saying you didn’t incite my subordinates to hunt her down in revenge,
“You’ve got it all wrong! Raven absolutely cannot be the sect leader!” The man clenched his fists tightly, as if clinging to his final hope, and firmly demed Raven’s true identity.
He added, “You don’t understand! I saw that woman leaving the lower realm’s Spatial Point with my own eyes. She stowed away on a spatial vessel without any legal papers from Forreb!
“And that so–called communication chip she used to verify her identity was something she picked up by accident. She’s been impersonating your Lady Valor all along! She deceived you!”
