Chapter 814
“What method?” Timonthy asked sternly.
The man said, “In fact, there’s a very simple way to determine whether she’s truly Lady Valor. You can call Raven and ask her a few questions that only the senior members of the Cloudshadow Sect would know. If she can’t answer them, then she’s definitely an impostor.”
He added, “Of course, if she answers fluently and I correctly, I’ll accept whatever punishment you give me without complaint.”
The man sneered inwardly, fully confident
Raven wouldn’t be able to answer.
Seeing his certainty, the others began to look uneasy. One of them leaned toward Timonthy and said in a low voice, “Mr. Devonport, this is a serious matter. We should be cautious. Although this sman might be trying to buy time, what he said isn’t entirely without merit.”
“Yes, I also feel that Lady Valor seems quite different from before she disappeared.” Another executive agreed.
“It’s more than just a little different,” another executive chimed in. “Back then, Lady Valor never spoke to me so gently. Raven’s gestures and expressions are indeed similar to Lady Valor’s, but she’s lacking that killing aura.”
Timonthy frowned but didn’t immediately respond. Another executive continued to persuade him, “Why don’t we test her a little more? If she really is a fake, how can we allow her to taint Lady Valor’s name?”
“Alright. Let’s test her then.” Timonthy finally decided after a long pause.
He took out his phone, glanced at the man across from him, and said coldly, “I’m calling Lady Valor right now. If she can answer questions that only the sect leader and we high–ranking members know, I’ll make your life worse than death.”
With that, he unlocked his phone and dialed Raven’s number.
At that moment, Raven had just walked out of the confinement area. Behind her was a scene of devastation, and the air was thick with the stench of
blood.
The patrol head kept retreating until he had no place left to run. In desperation, he crawled under a nearby desk and covered his head like an ostrich.
Raven glanced coldly at the man cowering like a turtle. Just as she was about to step forward, her phone suddenly rang in her coat pocket.
Now that she was out of the confinement zone, the signal had I returned, and she immediately received Timonthy’s call.
That ringtone was probably the most beautiful sound the
patrol head had ever heard. It ended his countdown to death.
Taking advantage of the moment while Raven stopped to answer the call, he crawled out from under the desk and bolted toward the entrance of the Inspection Bureau, yelling at the top of his lungs, “Get out! If you want to live, evacuate immediately!”
At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to drag out the subordinates who brought Raven back and flog them.
They actually dared to lock the leader of Cloudshadow Sect in
Confinement.
This was the same woman who had once executed the city lord of Frihamen City with her own hands. Even the big shots in Deariton had to show her
respect.
A patrol officer asked hesitantly, “Boss, what about the people locked in the confinement cells?”
The patrol head replied, “Do you still have time to worry about them? If you don’t want to die, run!”
Then, the head charged outside. The rest of the officers scattered like frightened birds, all scrambling to find somewhere safe to hide.
In less than thirty seconds, the entire bureau was completely deserted.

Raven glanced at the caller ID, the murderous intent in her eyes fading slightly. But the oppressive, icy aura she exuded still filled the engin boreal
“Hello?” she answered the call. On the other end, Timonthy’s voice immediately rang out. “Lady Valor, I have something I’d like to ask you
Raven said, “Speak.”
Timonthy asked, “Do you know when our Cloudshadow Sect’s anniversary is?”
She replied, “September 13th.”
