Raven raised an eyebrow in surprise. Outwardly, she remained calm, but inwardly, she was deeply confused. She didn’t know what had happened. 

She remembered only feeling dizzy and tired, and when she woke up, she found these patrol officers trembling with fear in front of her. 

Just a short while ago, they had been swaggering around, threatening her with execution.

“You seem… very afraid?” Raven observed their reactions closely. The panic and fear they showed toward her didn’t seem fake. 

But in their eyes, she was just someone from the lower realm, someone with no status in Forreb. They shouldn’t be afraid of her. 

The chief replied, “Of course we’re afraid! Do you realize your status? Offending you is a crime punishable by death!” 

Raven was even more confused.

finger on you!” 

‘The Cloudshadow Sect… again.‘ A thought flashed through Raven’s mind. Perhaps the executives from the Cloudshadow Sect had realized she was missing, tracked her down, and revealed her identity to the Inspection Bureau. 

Since they now believed she was the leader of the Cloudshadow Sect, Raven saw no reason to keep pressing. 

So she said to them, “Then I suppose I’m free to go?” 

“What?” The patrol chief could hardly believe his ears. Raven was really letting them go, not even planning to hold them accountable. 

He thought his luck must be good enough to win the grand lottery. 

Even so, the patrol chief kept a close eye on Raven’s expression, not daring to relax until he was sure she truly wasn’t planning to kill him. 

He said, “Of course! You may go wherever you please. We wouldn’t dare stand in your way. Wherever you wish to go, I’ll arrange an escort immediately. Men! Lady Valor is returning!”
