Chapter 830
For a moment, the entire room fell deathly silent.
No one had expected Raven to really go that far. She had killed someone.
Felipe was shocked, and he instinctively took two steps back.
He said, “So you’re really not afraid of dying. Have you even considered the consequences of what you’ve done?”
Of course, he understood why Raven was so unrestrained. She was already a death–row fugitive. Getting caught again meant certain death anyway. So before dying, she could just go out with a bang and take a few people down with her.
Felipe said, “You just killed someone. That’s capital punishment, no question. But it won’t just be you. Cassian, and every friend and family member you have in the lower realm, they’ll all be dragged down with you!”
Felipe glared at Raven, relying on the Cloudshadow Sect’s backing, continuing to taunt her arrogantly. “You want to know who made Cassian drink earlier? Fine, it was me!”
He continued, “People like you exist to be used by people like me. He wanted info about you? Wanted me to pull strings to help you? I told him to drink the damn bottle first! There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world!”
He added, “My advice? Apologize now. Then turn yourself in to the Inspection Bureau. I’m the Cloudshadow Sect’s soon–to–be son–in–law, fiancé of the sect leader herself. You can’t afford to offend me!”
“Can’t afford?” Raven sneered coldly. “You’re that certain Cloudshadow Sect has your back?”
“Of course!” Felipe snapped, still smug and unafraid. “I’m telling you to apologize now, or I’ll…”
Before Felipe could finish his sentence, he let out a painful howl.
Raven had picked up a piece of broken glass. She sliced a deep cut across Felipe’s right wrist, severing his tendon.
The pain contorted his face into a twisted mask of agony. He clutched his bleeding wrist with a trembling hand, nearly blacking out.
The surrounding rich heirs were stunned speechless. No one had expected Raven to actually lay a hand on Felipe.
First, she took out a young heiress of the Larsson family, and now she had crippled the future son–in–law of the Cloudshadow Sect. She had just made enemies of the two most powerful forces in Frihamen City.
They thought Raven was insane.
“Raven!” Felipe growled, voice filled with hatred, like a cornered beast, “You cut my hand! You’re dead! You, Cassian, your whole low–born family in that pathetic realm, none of you are getting out of this alive!”
He continued, “I’ll go find my fiancée. Just wait. Feel the full wrath of the Cloudshadow Sect!”
“Mr. Cherry, your hand. Stop the bleeding!” One of the heirs rushed over with a handkerchief, tearing it into strips and wrapping it around Felipe’s gushing wrist.
Felipe, face pale and eyes murderous, used his left hand to pull out his phone and called Mack.
“Looks like we’ve pissed off a bigshot,” Diabolus–Cassian said with a gleam in his eye, barely suppressing his excitement. His queen had been so badass just now.
However, their identities could not be exposed now. If this situation blew up, things could get messy real fast.
“You scared?” Raven asked casually.
Chapter 830
“Me? Please. When have I ever been scared?” Cassian pulled her into a side hug with theatrical flair.
This overdramatic, clingy version of Cassian, always sweet talking and throwing shade at his Primary Personality.
