Chapter 839
“Masters?” Cassian turned to look at Raven in confusion. “What masters are you talking about? Haven’t you always trained with your grandfather since you were little? Even your medical skills were taught by him.”
Raven frowned. This whole thing was starting to get stranger and stranger.
Neither she nor Cassian had any memory of these supposed four masters. She suspected George and the others had mistaken her for someone else.
Yet, it was unlikely that all four of them would be wrong at the same time. Then there was also the matter of the Cloudshadow Sect.
Raven thought for a moment, then briefly told Cassian what had happened since she arrived in Forreb.
“So you’re saying the executives of the Cloudshadow Sect mistook you for their leader?” Cassian was shocked. “They don’t even know what their own leader looks like? Or do you just happen to look a lot like her?”
Raven replied, “Apparently, Lady Valor always wore a mask. Even the executives never saw her real face.”
“What a bizarre organization.” Cassian frowned. “No wonder you’re not at all worried they’ll cause you trouble. But what if they eventually realize they got the wrong person…”
“I’m not necessarily the wrong person.” Raven had experienced so many bizarre things lately that a mysterious new identity didn’t even surprise her
anymore.
“Are you saying you secretly founded an organization behind my back?” Cassian puffed up like a pufferfish in outrage. “Was it so you could keep a stable of pretty boy lovers or something?”
Raven didn’t know what kind of chaotic nonsense this guy was thinking.
She explained, “I just meant it’s possible I’ve lost part of my memory.”
Cassian asked, “Then what? I lost mine too?”
Raven replied, “Your memory was never complete to begin with.”
Cassian was stunned. “Well, that’s… true, I guess.”
He blinked, a little dejected, and tugged lightly at the hem of Raven’s sleeve.
He asked, “Darling… maybe when another version of me wakes up, you could ask him?”
He hadn’t exactly wanted the other Cassian to resurface before, but with everything that had happened recently, he realized how weak he was.
And that realization had sparked the idea. Maybe it was time to take training seriously.
If the tsundere Cassian continued sleeping, then it was up to him to protect Raven. He couldn’t let her keep worrying about him.
Cassian asked, “How about you teach me how to cultivate?”
“You want to learn?” Raven was surprised.
Diabolus Cassian had always struck her as carefree and hedonistic. Add in the fact that he was a secondary personality, and it made sense that his time awake was short, so he usually preferred to live in the moment and enjoy life.
Compared to the main Cassian, Diabolus was clingier, more expressive with his feelings. But now, here he was, asking to train. It stirred something tender
in her heart.
To her, no matter which version he was, they were both him, both the man who loved her more than life itself.

Chapter 839
“If that slacker won’t come out and do his part, then I’ve got to step up and be the man of the housel” Cassian huffed and coughed awkwardly, i how to fight, next time we run into someone like Felipe, I’ll be able to beat them.”
Raven chuckled softly. “Since you’re serious about it, I’ll find someone to teach you.”
“Find someone?” Cassian immediately looked upset. “You’re not going to teach me yourself?”
He had been secretly hoping she’d train him personally. Just the two of them, hand in hand… and maybe a little more than just hand–holding
“If you really want to learn martial arts, I can’t be the one to teach you,” Raven said. She knew she’d go too easy on him because she couldn’t bear to see him suffer.
Plus, Forreb was full of hidden dangers right now, and with Cassian’s Primary Personality still dormant, she also wanted to find him a secure place to train and hide if necessary.
Cassian looked down and thought for a moment, then reluctantly gave in. “Okay. Then… who do you want to teach me?”
