“You guys really won’t cover for her?” Spence calmed down when he realized that Mack’s anger did not seem to be fake.
“I’ll wait for her here then! Just in case she runs away after getting wind of the news,” Spence declared and sat down on the Cherry family’s sofa without permission.
“Did he pick up?” Leonard called out to the servants, “Ask them to get their ass here if the call went through!”
“Not yet!” The servant replied as he continued to dial Cassian’s number.
After a whole two hours, the call finally went through. Another hour after that, Raven and Cassian appeared in the Cherry family home.
When Raven saw outsiders present in the Cherry family’s living room, she could not help but sneer, “It seems quite lively in here.”
“Raven, you bitch, you still have the guts to come back?” Leonard was the first to speak. “You broke Felipe’s hand and killed the daughter of the Larsson family. No one can save you this time!”
“Did you think you could do whatever you wanted just because of the Cherry family’s relationship with Cloudshadow Sect? You’re wrong. The Cherry family would not take the fall for you,” Leonard spat.

“I don’t have a father like you!” Cassian’s expression was cold, and his black eyes were filled with disgust.
“This is absurd! Are you rebelling against us right now?” Mack was overwhelmed with anger. He rushed to Raven and Cassian and pointed at them as he shouted, “This is the Cherry family home. It’s not your place to behave atrociously!”
“As the head of the Cherry Family, I order you to kneel and apologize to the Larsson family immediately. Otherwise, I’ll contact the elders of Cloudshadow Sect and ask them to come and deal with you!” Mack ordered.
