“Furthermore, the marriage between the Cherry family and the Cloudshadow Sect will make our family’s standing more prestigious. When that happens, I will pick a good wife for Cassian. Cassian and you are no longer on the same level. He deserves much better than you. You will only embarrass yourself if you continue to pester him!” Tuesday declared.
“If you love and care about him, you should walk away and let him choose a better future. Otherwise, your so–called true love is just selfishness. You just want his social standing to make your way up in society!” Tuesday said.
After listening to Tuesday’s guilt–tripping, Raven was not even interested in refuting her. Raven was sure that a woman like Tuesday, who only cared about profit and would betray her son, would never listen to logical reasoning.
Raven was sure that everything Tuesday did was to establish her position and for her benefit. Tuesday had never cared about Cassian’s feelings.
Although Raven did not know why Cassian’s father agreed to let Tuesday take Cassian away, Raven was sure he would regret it if he found out how Cassian was being treated in Forreb.
Fortunately, Cassian was not the true Lysander family young master. Thus, there was no way for Tuesday’s plan to succeed. There was also no way Raven and Cassian would have let her off for so long if she were not the original young master’s biological mother.
“It’s time for you to give up on the idea of using me as a tool for a marriage alliance.” The only thing Cassian felt for the woman in front of him was hate.
“The only person I would marry in this world is Raven. And I won’t let anyone tell me what to do with my fiancée. As for the 1.5 million dollars, I won’t be giving you a single cent. Sue me if you want, you won’t be getting the money from me,” Cassian announced before he took Raven’s hand and walk of the villa.
“Stop! Stop right there!” Seeing that Cassian was determined to leave, Mack raised his voice and roared at Cassian, “Are you really willing to risk your life for a bitch like her? Raven won’t have long left to live! All she will do is make your life difficult!”
