“Raven, I know you’re in there. Don’t hide and not say anything!” Leonard banged the door several times. 

“I was wondering why you left the family so readily. It turns out that you’ve already found a way out. You’re a lowly person yet living in such a luxurious manor. Aren’t you afraid of the crimes you committed? Give us the manor because only our family is worthy of this place!” 

“Raven, if you don’t come out, I’ll sue you for kidnapping people. Hurry up and hand over Cassian! Our family’s children can’t be with a shameless woman like you!” 

Raven opened the door and saw Leonard’s ugly face. She was disgusted by him and took a few steps back. However, her gaze was icy. 

Leonard and Felipe stood at the door proudly. 

Seeing Raven, Felipe said sarcastically, “You’re finally willing to go out? I thought you felt guilty and wanted to hide in the manor for the rest of your life!” 

“Guilty? We’re living in our own house. What’s there to be guilty about?” Cassian came to Raven’s side and sneered. 

“Cassian, you traitor!” When Felipe saw Cassian come out, his resentful gaze sized him up wantonly. This appaling couple had caused his right hand to be crippled. Hence, Felipe would settle his score with them after the wedding banquet. 

As long as he became the Cloudshadow Sect’s son–in–law, not to mention a mere Raven, the whole town would suffer with him whenever he felt unhappy. After all, the woman Felipe married would be Lady Valor, the most powerful queen in Frihamen. 

“A traitor?” Cassian sneered. “Raven is my fiancée. Who do you think you are?” 

“Bastard, I’m your father!” Leonard shouted. “Our family worked so hard to support you, but now you’re secretly living in such a good house. Aren’t you 

afraid of karma? 

“And you!” Leonard changed the topic. “How can a lowly person like you live in such a luxurious manor? Hurry up and give it up!” 

“Give it to you? Like a gift?” Raven raised her eyebrows slightly. 

When Leonard shouted outside, Raven knew why they were there. It turned out that Leonard was coveting this manor, so he rushed over to pester her. 

“Of course! Only our family is worthy of such a good house.” Leonard raised his head arrogantly. “Didn’t you want to marry Cassian? This manor can be considered your dowry. Our Forreb’s rule is that the dowry has to be handed over to your in–laws. Hence, you can move out first. You will come with us to settle the transfer procedures.” 

“Such confidence. Do you think we’re fools?” Cassian was so angry that he laughed, Although he had not been sober for long, he had seen many strange people in Vyrdenia. However, this was the first time he had seen a shameless and self–righteous stranger like the Cherry family. 

“Cassian, you’re part of our family. How can you speak up for this lowly person?” Leonard felt that Cassian could only rely on him and his family. 

In his opinion, a lowly person like Cassian should listen obediently if he were given some benefits.
