Chapter 887
“I think she must be scared out of her wits right now, probably running off with her tail between her legs. She spoke arrogantly before, but if she faced Lady Valor, she’d probably faint from fear.”
The guests around him sneered at the mention of Raven, their expressions filled with disdain.
“Mr. Cherry, don’t waste time thinking about that lowborn girl. How could she dare show up here? Today, all the important figures of Frihamen City are gathered to celebrate your wedding with Lady Valor. A small–time nobody like her wouldn’t dare come here to cause trouble–unless she’s looking for trouble.”
“You’re the son–in–law of Cloudshadow Sect, Mr. Cherry. Who would dare cross you and live to tell the tale?”
Their words weren’t just flattery for Felipe; they genuinely believed it. Raven was nothing more than a lowborn nobody. What right did she have to challenge the Cloudshadow Sect?
Felipe chuckled darkly. “She thinks I’ll let her off just because she didn’t attend the wedding? As long as she’s in Frihamen City, I’ll ensure she doesn’t have a peaceful day again.”
The thought of Raven made Felipe’s hatred flare up uncontrollably.
“She’s crossed me repeatedly, and still hasn’t learned her lesson. I’ll make sure she knows what happens when you cross Felipe.”
“Don’t worry, Mr. Cherry,” one of the sycophants said. “Raven won’t be able to run far. If worse comes to worst, we can have Lady Valor issue a warrant for her. As long as she still wants to survive in Forreb, she must come crawling back and beg for mercy.”
Just as the group was busy flattering Felipe and condemning Raven, a sudden commotion erupted outside the banquet hall. A voice rose above the crowd, calling out to the guests inside, “Lady Valor of Cloudshadow Sect has returned!”
“What?”
“Lady Valor has returned?”
“Quick, to the door! Move fast!”
At the news, Dangelo and the others, gathered around Felipe, rushed toward the exit.
Not one to be left behind, Felipe followed the crowd, hurrying along with them.
Only Mack and Leonard remained behind, standing back in the crowd. Their eyes darted nervously, and their expressions were tense, as though they were worried about something.
Leonard leaned in and whispered, “Mack, do you think Lady Valor will notice…?”
“What nonsense are you talking about?” Mack snapped, glaring at Leonard. He quickly forced a calm demeanor and responded, “Lady Valor has never seen the real Cassian. And our Felipe is a hundred times more impressive, both in looks and talent, than that lowborn Cassian. With someone like him here as her fiancé, there’s no way Lady Valor will still be thinking about Cassian.”
Leonard listened to Mack’s words and, reassured, nodded. His earlier anxiety faded, and he stretched his neck, eagerly looking toward the door.
Using his position, Felipe pushed his way to the front, practically beaming with excitement as he rushed toward the door, eager to catch a glimpse of his fiancée. But when he saw who was approaching/his steps froze, and he stood there, stunned.
“I was told Lady Valor was arriving–why are you here? How dare a lowborn like you show up at my wedding, flaunting yourself like this?”
Felipe never expected to see Raven, the woman he loathed, standing before him.
Raven wasn’t wearing an elaborate bridal gown but had chosen a simple, elegant white dress that hugged her figure perfectly. Her long hair was casually

styled in an effortless updo, and she wore no extravagant accessories. Yet, even in such simplicity, her stunning beauty was enough to captivate the room as soon as she entered.
“Raven?”
“Is she the so–called lowborn?”
