The guests who hadn’t seen Raven before were enchanted by her beauty for a moment, but as they realized her identity, their adspirations quely turnas to disdain.
“How dare a lowborn person show up at Lady Valor’s wedding?”
“Exactly. Today is the big day for Lady Valor and Mr. Cherry. Who are you trying to impress with that outfit?”
“Ah, I get it. This lowborn is probably hoping to charm some important figure at the wedding and escape her pathetic status.”
“Humph, so manipulative and shameless!”
Eric had been eagerly anticipating Lady Valor’s arrival, but to his surprise, Raven, dressed in a gown, walked in.
He furrowed his brow and walked over, pointing at her. “Raven, who let you in here? Do you even have an invitation? And this is Lady Valor’s wedding You’re trying to steal the spotlight with that flashy dress?”
“If you don’t want to anger Lady Valor, I suggest you change out of that dress before she arrives. Today is a joyous occasion, and I’m sure Lady Valor wouldn’t want any bloodshed. If you keep your head down, I might consider pleading for your life before her.”
Dangelo still maintained his high–and–mighty attitude, believing he had the right to offer Raven the greatest favor while acting like he was doing her a
favor.
“I’m helping you out as repayment for the favor you did for me on the spatial vessel. From now on, whatever you do is none of my concern. You’d better handle yourself accordingly.”
“Yeah, hurry up and change out of that dress. You’re a lowborn, you don’t deserve to wear something so fine!”
“Look at the other young ladies here today. They’re all dressed modestly, careful not to steal Lady Valor’s spotlight. And here you are, wearing something so extravagant. You’re out of your league!”
After Dangelo spoke, the other guests also cast disdainful looks at Raven,
“People from the lower realms don’t know their place. They have no sense of decorum!”
Even the young ladies who normally wore dresses worth six figures were dressed simply today, choosing plain cuts and single–color fabrics, and keeping their jewelry modest. They did this out of respect for Lady Valor, not wanting to draw attention to themselves or cause trouble for their families.
Despite the mocking and accusatory stares from everyone around her, Raven remained unfazed and continued walking into the banquet hall.
“I’m here for my wedding. Who gave you the right to judge me?”
“Your wedding?”
The guests around her stood frozen, staring at Raven with expressions of shock and disbelief.
“Raven, what nonsense are you spouting now?”
Leonard, seeing Raven who had crippled Felipe’s right hand daring to show up and cause a scene, couldn’t hold back his anger. Without thinking, he stormed out of the crowd and shouted at her, “Today is Lady Valor’s wedding day! Stop causing trouble and disrupting everything!
“How dare you shamelessly claim you’re here for your wedding? Do you think we’re all fools? Let me tell you, the real Lady Valor will be here soon. If you don’t want to end up dead, you’d better get out now!
“Who’s running the security at this hotel? How did they let someone like her in here to make a spectacle of herself? Can you even han consequences if Lady Valor discovers this?”

Leonard thought she’d back down by exposing Raven in front of everyone, but to his surprise, she wasn’t fazed by his threats.
“The real Lady Valor of Cloudshadow Sect?” Raven’s eyes swept over the gathered guests. “Why don’t we let someone from Cloudshadow Sect themselves tell you who the real Lady Valor is?”
