“My fiancé has always been Cassian,” Raven said coldly. “Yet, you tried to swap him out, repeatedly plotting against him. And now, after all of this, you still haven’t learned your lesson. Where do you get the confidence to think I would ever fall for an arrogant, useless, ugly freak like you?“.
“Ugly freak?” Felipe felt as though he’d been struck by lightning. He shook his head in disbelief. He thought, ‘No, I’m destined for greatness, not some ugly freak!‘
“You’re doing this just to provoke me, aren’t you?”
“I’ve admitted my mistakes–why are you treating me like this?”
Raven turned away, no longer bothered to respond. Instead, she looked at the trembling guests around her.
These people only knew how to flatter the powerful and trample on the weak. As soon as they realized her true identity, they immediately changed their
tune.
And, of course, she wouldn’t let the arrogant Dangelo and Julio off the hook either.
“Or has my absence from Frihamen City made you think Cloudshadow Sect is weak enough for you to bully and take advantage of?“”
“No… It’s all a misunderstanding…”
The family heads retreated in fear, pale–faced.
“Lady Valor, if we had known your identity, we would never have…”
“You greedy cowards, what wouldn’t you do for your benefit?” A sharp voice cut through the air from behind the crowd.
Everyone turned to see a young man in a well–tailored black suit, one hand casually tucked in his pocket, strolling through the crowd with an air of
nonchalance that drew everyone’s attention.
His appearance was otherworldly, as if descended from the heavens. But now, his lips curled into a lazy, yet captivating smile, his bright eyes glistening like stars, carrying a subtle allure.
Mack and the others froze, their pupils narrowing as they took in the sight, their breath quickening.
“Cassian…”
Felipe gritted his teeth, his gaze burning with envy as he glared at Cassian. His jealousy and anger intensified, overshadowing even his fear.
Cassian felt a murderous gaze fixed on him. Turning slightly, he saw Felipe’s ugly, twisted face, consumed with jealousy. A wicked smile curled on Cassian’s lips.
“You think you have the right to covet my fiancée?”
Felipe’s eyes burned red with fury as he clenched his fists, but before he could speak, Leonard rushed in front of Cassian, a look of feigned sorrow on his
face.
“Cassian, we were wrong before. We’ve reflected on our actions.”
“Don’t worry, from now on, I’ll treat you like my own son. You’re the eldest son of the Cherry family, and our door will always be open for you.”
“Please, for the sake of our family bond, go to your fiancée and ask her to show mercy. Tell her not to press charges, alright?”
“Felipe made a mistake, but he’s your brother. You can’t be so heartless!”
“If something happens to our family, you’ll lose your support in Forreb. What will you do if Lady Valor turns her back on you?”

Cassian looked coldly at Leonard, who was crying and pleading in front of him, then turned his gaze to Tuesday, who stood in the comer, pale and trembling. A mocking smile played at the corners of his lips.
Cassian thought, ‘This selfish woman is hiding behind the scenes, watching the spectacle unfold in the banquet hall. If the Cherry family is honestly dealt with, she can step forward and claim she knew nothing, that they forced her. She’ll play the victim card, hoping to win my forgiveness
