Dangelo’s words swayed the other family heads, aligning them with Nash. After all, they had already made enemies with Raven, there was no point in trying to please her now. It was better to side with Nash.
Whether she was the real Lady Valor or not didn’t matter–they had a crowd of powerful fighters here, and no matter how she struggled, Raven wouldn’t escape this time.
Besides, Nash had the evidence that Raven was an impostor. Once that evidence was revealed, even the Cloudshadow Sect wouldn’t protect her anymore. At that point, killing her would be easy.
“We knew all along you were an imposter. Why don’t you surrender already?”
“You filthy wretch, how dare you claim to be Lady Valor of Cloudshadow Sect?”
With Nash’s backing, their confidence grew, and they became more brazen.
Cassian’s face was like stone, though inwardly, he felt a rising panic.
He thought, ‘Why hasn’t that tsundere personality woken up yet? If it were just a few lackeys, he could manage, but with so many powerful opponents closing in and Raven clearly in a weakened state, even the executives from Cloudshadow Sect might not be able to hold out much longer.
‘What worries me even more is that Nash might sway the Cloudshadow Sect members, turning them against us.‘
Fortunately, Cassian’s worst fears did not come to pass. Timothy saw the bloodthirsty group Nash had brought encircle the banquet hall, closing in with each passing moment. Without hesitation, the executives stepped forward, positioning themselves protectively in front of Raven.
“How dare you question the identity of Lady Valor, the true leader of Cloudshadow Sect?” Timothy’s voice rang out, sharp with authority.
“Do you think your petty divide–and–conquer tactics will make us betray Lady Valor? You’re dreaming!”
He turned his cold gaze toward Nash. “If you truly have evidence, then show it. Stop with your lies and deceit.”
A flash of killing intent flickered in Timothy’s eyes. He knew Nash had come prepared and that a tough fight was inevitable.
Timothy’s words played right into Nash’s hands.
“Do you think I would make such a spectacle without proof? The evidence you’ve been waiting for is right here.” With that, Nash stepped aside, revealing the door behind him.
“Mr. Macy, come out!”
A grim–looking middle–aged man walked in from the entrance. His eyes locked onto Raven and Cassian, full of venom, as if he could burn a hole through them with his gaze.
“Who is this man?”
“Is there a Macy family in Frihamen City?”
“From his attire, he doesn’t seem to be a Forrebian. Could he be from the lower realms as well?”
The other family heads didn’t recognize Benson, but they were all intensely curious about his identity
Benson ignored their stares and instead pulled out his phone, projecting a photo onto the screen.
“This is the proof that Raven is not the true Lady Valor of Cloudshadow Sect!”
The crowd stared in shock at the screen, where the photo showed a young woman receiving an honor medal. It was clearly Raven, and the timestamp

revealed it was taken four years ago.
This woman had joined the Vyrdenia Military five years ago, and before that, she had been living in Bastion, with no chance even to reach Forreb. How could she possibly have founded Cloudshadow Sect?
The photo took aback Timothy, but he quickly regained his composure. “This is just a regular photo. It could have been altered. It doesn’t serve as evidence.”
“The photo isn’t the point,” Benson said smugly. “It’s the person in the photo.” He dramatically pulled off his facial mask. “Take a good look at who I am.
As the crowd saw his face, a wave of shock rippled through the room.
The man in front of them was identical to the one in the photo who had awarded Raven the medal.
“So it’s you!”
