Dad kicked Ethan viciously in the chest.[]

Ethan shook his head in terror–he knew my father’s methods better than anyone.]]

Ethan grabbed Kylie’s head and slammed it against the ground.
Kylie screamed in agony. “Ethan! How can you do this to me!“]
Within minutes, Kylie’s forehead was a bloody mess.
I stared at the ring on Kylie’s ring finger, lost in thought.]]
Once, Ethan had spent every penny he had to buy me that ruby ring.
Now seeing it on Kylie’s hand made the irony even more bitter.
When Ethan followed my gaze to the ring, he flew into a rage.[]
“Who gave you permission to touch Rachel’s things? Give it back, you bitch!“]]
He violently yanked the ring from Kylie’s finger with such force that I could clearly hear bones crack.
Kylie had no strength left to resist.[]
She bit down on Ethan’s hand, earning herself another vicious slap.]

I knew Ethan wasn’t truly repentant–he was just terrified seeing his future crumble.
He’d grown accustomed to living like royalty through the Caldwell family connections, so he desperately begged for mercy.[]
I chuckled softly, looking at the sulfuric acid in my father’s hand.[]
“You want to prove your loyalty? Then pour this acid on Kylie!“]
Ethan knew exactly what sulfuric acid could do. I was only trying to scare him into backing down and leaving me alone.]]
But he actually took the acid from my hand and, without a moment’s hesitation, poured it all over Kylie.[]
Kylie writhed in agony as the acid instantly dissolved her flesh and blood.[]

Kylie’s screams were piercing, but Ethan only looked at her coldly.
“You hurt Rachel. You have to pay the price!“]]
He showed no mercy whatsoever for the pitiful woman before him.
