Chapter 362
Within minutes, Daron had Marina’s schedule for the day.

She’d stopped by the Finley Group that afternoon, then rushed over to the factory, and had left about half an hour ago.
Knowing how Daron is, Emeric just sent him the security footage of Marina driving away from the factory.
After checking the time, Daron confirmed that she had left not long after ending the call with him.
On his way over from home, he didn’t spot any sign of a serious crash on the road.
He’d checked in with the Finleys, too, but they said Marina hadn’t been back at all recently. With Elnora not at home, she rarely went back anyway.
After Emeric sent over the security footage, he didn’t hear back from Daron.
He could easily imagine just how grim Daron’s face must be right now.
He quickly typed out a message.
Emeric: [Maybe Marina just went out with a friend. Her phone might be in her bag, so she didn’t hear it.]
Daron didn’t bother replying to Emeric. He just grabbed his phone and called Kara.
In Vrufield, Kara was pretty much the only friend who could get Marina out of the house this late.
But when he called, Kara didn’t pick up either.
His expression turned even more grim as he wasted no time in calling Finn.
“Find out where your sister is right now,” he ordered.
Finn caught the edge in Daron’s voice, raised an eyebrow, and replied coolly, “What did she do to piss you off?”
Daron took a deep breath, his voice cold. “She didn’t piss me off. I just need to know if Marina’s with her right now.”
Finn’s eyebrow lowered a bit, his expression easing up.
‘I’ll ask her right away, Finn replied.
He’d thought Kara had gotten herself into trouble and was already getting ready to deal with whatever mess Kara had made.
Turns out, all Kara did was run off with Daron’s newlywed wife.
After ending the call with Daron, Finn called up Kara, but again, no answer.
“Daron’s calls to Marina were probably getting the same result, which was why he had turned to me, Finn thought
Finn had the butler check which car Kara took out today. Using the car’s location data, they quickly pinpointed her whereabouts.
Kara was at a hot new spot in Vrufield called “Exquisite Feast.”
Ever since it opened, it had gone viral online.

Kara was always into whatever was trending, so of course, she’d brought Marina along for the ride.
Finn got the owner’s number and called to check. Sure enough, Marina and Kara were together, having dinner.
Soon, Finn received a short video reply.

In the video, Marina and Kara were sitting side by side in the front row, while a guy in a fancy costume was putting on a dance performance right in front of them.
The guy was strikingly good–looking, and Marina smiled faintly, the scene unexpectedly harmonious.
No wonder Exquisite Feast had such incredible online traffic.
Even Finn, who wasn’t into short videos at all, couldn’t help but watch the whole thing.
Finn just grinned, decided to keep the video to himself, and gave Daron a call instead.
“They’re having dinner at Exquisite Feast. My sister and Marina are totally safe. Don’t worry,” he told Daron.
Daron didn’t say a word.
Hearing that, Daron finally felt a bit of the tension leave his shoulders.
But then it dawned on him. Marina had gone out to dinner with Kara and hadn’t even bothered to let him know.
When Daron didn’t reply for a while, Finn could tell he was getting all possessive.
‘Daron, Kara and Marina have been super close since they were little. If I ever got into a conflict with Marina, Kara probably wouldn’t even take my side,” Finn said.
Daron knew exactly what Finn was getting at.
He let out a slow breath and said calmly, “So, in your eyes, am I really that possessive? You think I wouldn’t even let her spend time with her friends?”
Finn shot back right away. “When did I say that? I just meant if they can hang out, can’t we guys have a meal too?”
I’m still working late at the office and haven’t had dinner yet. How about you buy me dinner, and I’ll show you the way?” Finn continued.
‘Deal,” Daron replied without missing a beat.
Finn said, “Let’s meet at the entrance of Exquisite Feast.”
Daron didn’t say anything else. He just hung up, fired up his car, and headed straight for Exquisite Feast.
At Exquisite Feast, Marina and Kara were chatting away.
They were sitting in the front row, so the dancers in the middle of the floor kept coming over to interact with them.
This time, a gorgeous girl came right up to them and started dancing.
She reached out to Marina, inviting her to join the dance.
With cameras filming, Marina wasn’t one to ruin the mood. She naturally extended her hand and took the dancer’s.

As their hands met, the girl moved in with a graceful flourish, her face coming so close it was almost touching Marina’s.
Since it was another girl, Marina felt perfectly comfortable and smiled, completely at ease.
When their little interaction ended, the dancer spun away with an elegant turn, her skirt brushing over Marina’s fingertips. It was a truly beautiful scene.
Just then, Kara scooted over to Marina, grinning as she joked, “What, feeling dirty–minded all of a sudden? Even the places that should be empty are getting excited, huh?”
Marina just stared at her, lost for words.
“Where did you learn to say stuff like that?” she asked.
Kara just grinned and said, “I saw it online.”
Marina rolled her eyes. “You really need to stay away from those comment sections. They’re totally corrupting you. If Finn ever finds out…”
As Marina was talking, she suddenly felt eyes on her.
She instinctively glanced over, and sure enough, her gaze landed on Daron and Finn, sitting just across the dance floor from them.
Kara noticed Marina suddenly stop mid–sentence and looked over to follow Marina’s gaze.
Kara instinctively sucked in a breath.
Even though she knew there was no way Daron and Finn could hear them from this far away, she still felt a chill run down her spine.
‘Seriously, why are they here?‘ Kara thought, annoyed.
‘Can’t we get some privacy?‘ she grumbled to herself.
