We took the private elevator down to the parking garage. A sleek black car waited in his reserved spot.
“No John today?” I asked as he opened the passenger door for me.
He slid into the driver’s seat with practiced grace. “Not today. I thought I’d drive us myself. We’re going out for breakfast.”
“Where to?” I settled into the buttery leather seat, trying not to think about how the soft fabric of my dress had ridden up slightly.
“You’ll see.” His hand found my knee, thumb tracing circles on my skin. “I know a place.”
The casual intimacy of his touch made my breath catch. Even this simple contact felt charged after our morning activities. His fingers crept higher, pushing the hem of my dress up incrementally.
“Mr. Knight,” I whispered, but it came out more like a plea than a protest.
His hand slid up my thigh, fingers brushing against the fabric of my panties. He rubbed my pussy lightly, making me gasp. The lace felt suddenly too thin, too revealing under his touch.
“You like that?” His voice was low, teasing.
“Yes,” I breathed, unable to lie.
His lips found mine in a heated kiss. It was possessive, claiming me in a way that made my head spin. His tongue parted my lips, exploring with an urgency that matched the way his fingers teased me below.
Just as quickly as it began, he pulled back, leaving me panting and needy. His hand remained on my thigh, though his touch had stilled.
“Last night,” he said, voice thick with desire, “I wanted to fuck you in this car. But you wanted privacy.”
My cheeks flushed at his blunt words.
“Next time,” he continued, grinning wickedly, “I’ll fuck you in the car. I’ll make you scream my name until your throat’s raw.”
The crude promise sent a shiver down my spine, heat pooling low in my belly. I could already picture it – his hands gripping my hips, the car windows fogging up as he took me without mercy.
He started the car, breaking the spell of the moment. His hand left my thigh to grip the steering

wheel, leaving me feeling suddenly bereft.
“Let’s get breakfast,” he said casually as if he hadn’t just promised to fuck me senseless in his car.
I nodded, trying to steady my breath and compose myself. The engine roared to life, and we pulled out of the garage. The tension between us simmered below the surface as we drove through the city
streets.
The sleek car purred through the morning traffic, weaving between delivery trucks and early
commuters.
I shifted in my seat, still tender from our earlier activities, while trying not to stare at Alexander’s strong hands on the steering wheel.
We pulled up to Laurel & Oak, a place I’d only seen in magazines–the kind where they probably charged twenty dollars for toast.
“I’ve never been here before,” I admitted as the valet opened my door.
“Their eggs, Benedict, are worth the drive.” His hand found the small of my back, guiding me inside.
We were led to a secluded corner with plush velvet seating and a view of the city skyline. The menu didn’t even list prices – never a good sign for my anxiety.
“Order whatever you want.” He didn’t even glance at his menu. “The French toast here is sinful.”
I tried not to choke on my water. “Sinful” wasn’t a word I needed to hear from his mouth right now.
“The coffee here is excellent too.” His foot brushed against mine under the table. “Though you seem plenty stimulated already.”
Heat crept up my neck. “Mr. Knight…”
“Yes, Madison?” His innocent tone didn’t match the wicked glint in his eyes.
The waiter saved me from responding, appearing with a carafe of coffee. “The usual for you, sir?”
“Yes. And she’ll have…” He raised an eyebrow at me.
“Um, the French toast, please.” I managed to squeak out.
After the waiter left, Alexander leaned forward. “You’re adorable when you’re flustered.”
“I’m not flustered.” I focused intently on stirring cream into my coffee. “I’m just hungry.”
“Hmm.” His knee pressed against mine. “For food?”
I nearly dropped my spoon. “You’re impossible.‘

The coffee suddenly felt too hot. I took a long sip anyway, needing something to do with my hands.
Our food arrived his perfectly poached eggs next to my mountain of French toast dusted with powdered sugar and fresh berries.
“Open.” He held out his fork with a bite of eggs Benedict.
“I can feed myself,” I protested.
“Humor me.”
I parted my lips, letting him slide the fork into my mouth. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, perfectly balanced.
“Good?” His eyes locked with mine as I swallowed.
“Amazing,” I admitted, trying to ignore how intimate it felt to be fed by him.
“Try this.” He swiped his finger through the hollandaise and held it to my lips. My face burned as I
realized what he wanted.
I hesitated, then darted my tongue out to taste the sauce. His pupils dilated as I took his finger into my mouth, sucking gently.
“Careful,” he warned, voice husky. “Or we won’t make it to our next destination.”
I released his finger, focusing on my French toast to hide my blush. “Next destination?”
“You’ll see.” That infuriating smirk was back.
After breakfast, we drove through the city’s upscale district. I expected we were heading to his office, but he turned into the parking structure of Wellington Mall – home to stores I couldn’t even
pronounce.
“Shopping?” I asked as we walked through the marble–floored entrance,
“Mmm.” His hand found the small of my back, steering me past Cartier and Gucci.
I figured he needed something for himself – probably another ridiculously expensive suit to add to his collection. But instead of turning toward the men’s stores, he guided me into women’s stores.
I froze as we approached a storefront with elegant wear displayed in the window. “Mr. Knight?”
“Yes?” His hand remained firmly on my back, guiding me forward.

“Are we shopping for someone?” My eyes darted to a sleek black dress that hung elegantly in the window display, its silken fabric catching the soft lighting.
“We’re shopping for you.” He steered me through the entrance before I could protest.
“But I have clothes-”
“You’ll need appropriate attire for business functions and social events.” His tone left no room for
argument.
A sales associate materialized beside us, her perfect smile matching her perfect hair. “Welcome, Mr. Knight! How may I assist you today?”
“She needs a complete wardrobe update,” he declared with an air of finality.
The associate’s eyes lit up like she’d won the lottery. “Of course! Right this way.”
“Mr. Knight, really, this isn’t necessary-

His lips brushed my ear. “Consider it part of our arrangement. Unless you’d prefer, I take you shopping for more intimate items first?”
My face burned at his suggestive whisper, and the thought of him taking me lingerie shopping made my knees weak.
“I’d like some privacy while we browse,” he told the sales associate. “We’ll need time to consider our options.”
The associate’s professional smile never wavered. “Of course, Mr. Knight. We have a private fitting suite on the top floor, which is very discreet. I’ll wait at the counter when you’re ready. We also offer custom pieces if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for.

His hand slid lower on my back. “We’ll see what catches our eye first. And I trust this visit will remain between us?”
“Absolutely, sir. Your privacy is our priority.” She backed away with a knowing smile, making me want to sink through the floor.
Once she disappeared, he turned me toward a rack of dresses. “Much better. Now we can shop properly.” His fingers traced up my spine. “I’m looking forward to helping you try things on.”
“Mr. Knight!” I hissed, glancing around nervously.
“Relax.” He pulled out a midnight blue cocktail dress. “We’re alone. And I plan to thoroughly enjoy dressing you up.” He held the dress against me, his eyes darkening. “And then undressing you later.”
I grabbed the hanger, desperate for something to do with my hands. “I should try this on.”
