Chapter 106 Something BigÂ
They had to treat Maya and Alfred better.Â

Because if those two went home and cried about being bullied by teachers, their parents might actually show up the next day with guns.Â
It wasn’t just the teachers who found their essays interesting. The students did too.Â
They were all kids, but somehow Maya and Alfred had way more “imagination” than everyone else.Â
“You told me before that assassins only exist in movies,” someone said.Â
“And now you’re writing about them in your essay? I really admire your imagination!”Â
“Thanks,” Maya replied.Â
But this really wasn’t her imagination. She wasn’t crazy.Â
“Hahaha! Maya, Alfred, why do you two love making stuff up so much?”Â
A troublemaking boy came over, laughing.Â
“They’re not making it up!” Jenny quickly defended Maya. “Maya’s mom really is amazing!”Â
As for Maya’s dad… Well, he barely counted as normal.Â
Maya casually grabbed a book from her desk and smacked it right into the boy’s face. “Stop laughing. Your laugh is so annoying.”Â
Why are you still laughing? You’re so mean.Â
“Wow, you get mad that easily?” the boy shouted, covering his noseÂ
“I admire strong people too,” he said proudly, showing off his background. “You seem pretty capable. You could consider following me.”Â
Maya raised an eyebrow. “What?”Â
She let out a cold laugh. “Shouldn’t you be the one following me?”Â
Not wanting to hear more, she smacked him aside again with her book.Â
This boy loved messing with Jonathan. He had teased almost everyone in class. A classic spoiled rich kid.Â
“You’re making things up but won’t let people laugh?” He made a face.Â
But after getting hit square in the face again, he finally shut up.Â

School life went on as usual. The only strange thing was that Kaia hadn’t come to school for several days.Â
She was pretty popular, so a lot of students kept asking the teacher what happened.Â
Maya didn’t care much about the Jacksons. She spent some money to hire private investigators to look into Lawrence.Â
If he was just a regular student, tracking him shouldn’t be hard.Â
But the result came back surprising. Lawrence had been at home the whole time. He hadn’t gone to school at all.Â
So he’s not attending classes?Â
Maya didn’t understand. At lunchtime, she took the lunchbox Wendy had carefully prepared and went to the school garden, hoping the scenery would help her relax.Â
The breeze by the lake carried a bit of moisture, cooling the warm afternoon. Flowers were blooming everywhere.Â
But Maya had eaten too many snacks earlier, so she just sat there staring at the water. She didn’t touch her food at all.Â
Her untouched lunch was then happily accepted by George, who appeared out of nowhere again.Â
“What exactly are you doing at our school?” Maya asked, tilting her head as she looked at him.Â
Lately, George kept showing up just to ask her for food.Â
When he ate, he looked polite and well-behaved. With his soft baby face, no one would guess he did bad things behind the scenes.Â
“I’m not doing anything,” he said with a smile. Then he paused, knowing she wouldn’t believe him anyway.Â
Recently, he had been hanging out with Raymond’s former subordinates.Â
They were planning something big. Their target was this school.Â
After hearing the plan, George showed great interest. He even gave a sincere suggestion. “When the time comes, make sure you kidnap Toby.”Â
The only reason he joined them was to see Toby suffer. As for everyone else’s safety, he didn’t really care.Â
“By the way, your food tastes like something my mom used to make,” George said.Â
He hadn’t seen his mom in years. Once he grew up a little, he left home to wander on his own.Â
He was the type who loved freedom and exploring endless possibilities.Â
“Maybe all moms cook the same,” Maya replied casually.Â
He nodded, then reached out again and playfully messed up her hair.Â
The neat braids on both sides were instantly ruined.Â

Maya got annoyed. She suddenly reached out and yanked his hair hard, messing it up too.Â
Then she quickly ran behind a pillar and peeked at him with wide eyes.Â
Why is she both scared and still playing along?Â
George touched his messy hair.Â
He had straight black hair and a handsome baby face. He looked gentle, smiling softly.Â
“Why are you hiding behind the pillar?” he said. “Come here. I’m not mad.” He tilted his head slightly, still smiling. “Can I hug you?”Â
