Terrance and Simon shared a silent understanding. They were done with Rosaline’s theatrics, and they weren’t lying about the money. They simply weren’t going to be the ones to bleed for Robert’s mistakes.
Robert, still pinned by the thugs, watched his mother wailing on the floor and realized his lifeline was snapping. Panic took over, and he broke into a loud, frantic sob of his own.
