Got you. I’m going straight in. No fluff, no overthinking, full immersion, heavy dialogue, action-based only. natural flow.
Chapter 661100 I folded my arms tighter and stared at him, my brows pulled together, my nails digging into my sleeves. “Say it.”
Damien stood in front of me, jaw tight, eyes locked on mine. He did not move.
“Say what,” he said.
I let out a short breath and shook my head, dragging my fingers through my hair. “Don’t do that. Don’t act like you don’t know.”
His gaze darkened a little. “Then say it clearly.”
I stepped closer, my chest rising faster. “She said you’ll always love her.”
He went still.
Not confused. Not surprised.
Just still.
That hurt more.
I let out a small laugh and looked away, rubbing my forehead. “Yeah. That’s what I thought.”
“Sienna,” he said, voice low.
I snapped my head back to him, my eyes narrowing. “Do you?”
He held my gaze, silent.
I swallowed hard and took a step back, shaking my head again. “Wow. That silence is loud.”
“You’re listening to the wrong person,” he said.
I let out another dry laugh and pointed at him. “Then correct it.”
His jaw tightened.
“Correct it,” I repeated, stepping closer again. “Say she’s wrong.”
He exhaled slowly and ran a hand through his hair. “Alice is part of my past.”
I stared at him.
“That’s not what I asked.”

His eyes flicked over my face, then away for a second before coming back. “She’s not my present.”
I tilted my head, my lips pressing together. “That still wasn’t what I asked.”
He stepped closer, closing the space between us. “You’re pushing this.”
“Because you’re dodging it,” I shot back.

His eyes darkened again. “I don’t owe you explanations about every word that comes out of her mouth.”
My chest tightened. I let out a sharp breath and folded my arms again. “Right. Of course you don’t.”
“Sienna,” he said, firmer now.
I shook my head and looked away, blinking hard, my fingers dragging through my hair again. “No, it’s fine. It’s actually perfect.”
“It’s not fine,” he said.
I laughed under my breath. “No, it really is. I get it now.”
“Get what,” he asked.
I looked back at him, my eyes narrowing. “You don’t talk. You don’t explain. You just expect me to stand here and accept whatever you give me.”
His jaw tightened again. “I’m trying to keep you safe.”
I stepped closer again, pointing at my chest. “From what. From your ex or from your feelings.”
His eyes flashed.
“Be careful,” he said, voice dropping.
I rolled my eyes. “There it is. That tone again.”
“Sienna,” he warned.
“What,” I snapped. “You’re going to order me to stop asking questions too.”
He took another step forward, his hand lifting slightly like he was about to grab me, then stopping himself. “You don’t understand what’s going on.”
“Then make me understand,” I shot back, my voice rising.
His chest rose as he stared down at me. “This is not the time.”
I let out a frustrated sound and turned away, pacing a few steps before turning back, my hands pressing to my head. “It’s never the time with you. It’s always later. It’s always not now.”
“That’s because you keep choosing the worst moments,” he said.

I laughed, shaking my head. “Yeah. Blame me. That’s easy.”
Before he could respond, a loud crash echoed from the front of the packhouse.
Both of us froze.
Then another shout followed, louder this time.
“Alpha!”

Damien’s head snapped toward the sound. His whole body shifted instantly, shoulders tightening, eyes sharpening.
I dropped my hands slowly. “What was that.”
He did not answer. He was already moving.
I grabbed his arm as he stepped past me. “Damien, what is going on.”
He looked down at my hand gripping him, then back at my face. “Stay here.”
“No,” I said immediately, shaking my head. “Don’t do that.”
“Sienna,” he said, firm.
“I’m not staying locked in here like some child,” I snapped, tightening my grip.
Another shout came from outside, closer this time.
“They’re inside!”
My stomach dropped.
Damien’s eyes darkened instantly. He grabbed my wrist, pulling me toward him. “You don’t leave my side. Do you understand.”
My heart started pounding. I nodded once.
“Say it,” he said.
“I’m not leaving your side,” I said quickly.
He let go and moved fast toward the hallway. I followed right behind him, my steps quick, my fingers brushing against the wall as we turned the corner.
Wolves were running past us, some shifting, some shouting orders.
“What’s happening,” I asked, my voice tight.
“Stay close,” Damien said.

We reached the main hall, and I stopped short, my eyes widening.

The front doors were broken open. Wood splintered across the floor. Two wolves were already down, blood spreading beneath them.
My breath caught.
Damien stepped in front of me instantly, his arm pushing me slightly back.
“Who got in,” he demanded.
A guard stepped forward, panting, blood on his arm. “Rogues. But they didn’t come for territory.”
Damien’s eyes narrowed. “Then what.”
The guard hesitated.
My stomach twisted.
“They came for her,” he said, glancing at me.
Everything went quiet for a second.
Then Damien’s hand came back, gripping my arm and pulling me behind him.
“Get everyone inside,” he ordered. “Lock every exit.”
More howls echoed from outside.
My fingers grabbed onto the back of his hoodie, my heart racing. “Damien…”
“I told you,” he said, his voice low, tight. “This is what I was trying to prevent.”
A loud crash came from the side entrance.
“They breached the east wing,” someone shouted.
Damien moved again, pulling me with him.
We turned the corner fast, and I almost slipped on the floor, catching myself against the wall.
“Stay up,” he said, not slowing.
“I am,” I shot back, pushing myself forward.
We reached the east wing just as another group of wolves rushed in.
One of them looked straight at me.
My chest tightened.

“That’s her,” he said.
Before I could react, Damien stepped in front of me completely.
“Touch her and you die,” he said, voice low and deadly.
The rogue lunged anyway.
Everything happened too fast.

Damien shifted partially, his claws out, his body slamming into the rogue and throwing him across the hall. Another came from the side, and Damien turned, blocking him before he could reach me.
I pressed my back against the wall, my hands shaking as I looked around.
More were coming.
“They’re too many,” I said, my voice barely steady.
Damien did not look back. “Run when I tell you.”
“I’m not leaving you,” I said immediately.
“You don’t get to decide that,” he snapped.
Another rogue rushed toward me.
My breath caught.
Before Damien could reach him, something inside me snapped.
My hand lifted without thinking.
The air shifted.
The rogue froze mid step, his body locking like something was holding him in place.
My eyes widened.
“What…” I whispered.
Everyone went still for a second.
Even Damien.
The rogue dropped to his knees, gasping.
I stared at my hand, my fingers trembling.
“I didn’t…” I said, shaking my head.

Silence filled the hall.
Then one of the older wolves behind us spoke, voice low, shaken.
“That is not human.”
My chest rose sharply.
Damien turned slowly, his eyes locking on me.
Not confused.
Not soft.
Dark.
Dangerous.
And something else.
Something worse.
Fear.
The next second, more howls broke the silence, louder, closer, surrounding the packhouse.
Damien grabbed my wrist hard, pulling me toward him.
“Stay with me,” he said.
But his eyes did not leave mine.
Like he was seeing me for the first time.
And not liking what he saw.
