I woke up the next morning tangled in the sheets with Damien’s arm heavy around my waist. His chest was warm against my back, and one of his legs was hooked lazily over mine like he had no plan to let me move. He was already awake, watching me with this soft look I wasn’t used to seeing on him. I blinked, still half asleep, then raked my fingers through my messy hair and smiled softly.

“Morning,” I said, voice still sleepy.

“Morning.” He leaned in and kissed me slow, his thumb brushing my waist under the hoodie. “Get dressed. I’m taking you out.”

I furrowed my brows, pushing myself up on one elbow as the sheet slipped down. “Out where?”

He just smirked and pulled me up. “You’ll see.”

We got dressed quick. I threw on jeans and one of his hoodies because it smelled like him. I pulled the sleeves over my hands and tried not to smile too hard when he noticed. He took my hand and led me out the back door into the woods behind the cabin. The air was cool. Birds chirped everywhere.

He started walking faster, tugging me along. “Come on, keep up.”

I laughed and jogged to match his steps, almost tripping over a root as I grabbed his arm. “Slow down, you’re gonna make me trip!”

He glanced back, grinning, his hair falling over his forehead. “Then I’ll carry you.”

I stuck my tongue out at him. “No way. I can keep up.”

We walked deeper into the trees. Leaves brushed my shoulders, and Damien kept glancing back to make sure I was still behind him. He suddenly stopped by a small stream and crouched down, splashing water at me. Cold drops hit my face. I squealed and splashed him back hard.

“Oh you’re dead,” he said, laughing as he chased me.

I ran around the trees, screaming and laughing like a kid. My feet slipped on the grass, and I grabbed one tree trunk to spin myself around. “You can’t catch me!”

He caught me in three steps, arms wrapping around my waist from behind. He lifted me off the ground and spun me. I kicked my legs, giggling until my stomach hurt, my hands gripping his forearms.

“Put me down!”

“Nope.” He set me down but kept his arms around me, chin brushing my shoulder. “You’re too slow.”

I turned in his arms and pushed his chest, still breathless. “I let you catch me, obviously.”

He raised a brow. “Sure you did.”

We kept walking. He found a big fallen log and climbed on it like it was a balance beam. I climbed up after

him, holding his hand so I wouldn’t fall. His fingers tightened around mine every time my foot wobbled. We walked the whole length of it, laughing every time one of us wobbled.

“You’re terrible at this,” I teased, bumping his shoulder.

“You’re worse,” he shot back, bumping me harder.

I almost fell off but he grabbed my waist and pulled me against him. We stood there on the log, faces close. I was still breathing hard from running around, my hands pressed flat against his chest.

“This is fun,” I said, smiling up at him. “I haven’t played like this since I was little.”

He brushed some hair out of my face, his fingers lingering near my cheek. “Good. You needed it.”

We jumped off the log and kept going. He chased me again through a clearing. I zigzagged between trees, laughing so hard I could barely run. My hoodie sleeves flapped over my hands, and I kept looking back at him. He finally caught me and pinned me gently against a big tree trunk.

“Got you,” he said, breathing fast.

I looked up at him, cheeks hurting from smiling. My fingers curled into the front of his shirt. “You always do.”

He leaned in and kissed me. It started soft, then got deeper. His hands slid into my hair, tilting my head back. I kissed him back, arms wrapping around his neck, pulling him closer. The woods felt quiet around us except for our breathing.

He kissed me deeper and suddenly pinned me back against the tree.

The bark dug into my spine. I didn’t care. His hands were already pulling my hoodie up and over my head. I lifted my arms to help him. He tossed it on the ground and went for my bra next, unhooking it fast. The cool air hit my skin. He yanked my jeans and panties down my legs in one rough move. I stepped out of them, leaves crumbling under my bare feet.

He stripped his own shirt off quick, then shoved his pants down just enough. His cock was hard and ready. He grabbed my thigh, lifted one leg up and hooked it around his waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck, fingers tangling tight in his hair.

He pushed into me in one hard thrust.

I gasped against his mouth, nails digging into his shoulders. He started fucking me right there against the tree, hips snapping fast and deep. The bark scraped my back every time he thrust. It hurt but it felt good at the same time. I held on tighter, moaning into his neck.

His breathing was hot and rough against my skin. Leaves crunched under his boots every time he drove into me. I rocked my hips to meet him, leg wrapped higher around him. My nails scratched down his back, leaving marks. He groaned low and fucked me harder, hand gripping my raised thigh so tight I knew it would

bruise.

I buried my face in his neck, breathing fast. The tree shook a little with every thrust. My back scraped harder against the rough bark but I just held on, fingers twisted in his hair, pulling him closer. He kissed my neck, biting down, then kept moving, deep and relentless.

I was moaning louder now, the sounds mixing with the crunch of leaves under us. His free hand slid up my side, gripping my waist, holding me steady while he fucked me. I could feel every inch of him, the way he filled me completely. My leg started to shake around his waist but I didn’t let go.

He leaned in and kissed me again, messy and hard, tongue sliding against mine while his hips kept slamming into me. I kissed him back just as desperate, nails digging deeper into his skin. The tree bark kept scraping my back raw but I didn’t care. I just wanted more.

He broke the kiss to breathe against my mouth, forehead pressed to mine. His thrusts got faster, rougher. Leaves kept crumbling under his feet. I held onto his neck tighter, moaning every time he bottomed out.

We stayed like that, tangled against the tree, his body slamming into mine, my nails in his skin, his fingers gripping my thigh. The woods were quiet except for our breathing and the sound of leaves breaking under us.
